Prior service (or active duty) guys... Basically if you don't know what a fireteam and fire and maneuver is don't bother.
Those that do...

I'd like to see a crack, militaristic fireteam of at least three (or more) archer builds. Class and race doesn't matter as long as they can feasibly get along with each other. It can even have sorcerers and such as long as they can use some sort of ranged weapon with serious accuracy. Alignment would preferably be lawful but any personality that can actually work as a team concept would work. Anyway, it's simple concept if you know what a Fireteam is.

Let me know in this thread if you're interested...
And like I said, if you've never been part of a RL fireteam and don't know how to work as a military team that only survives by keeping each other alive, don't bother.

It's just a thought at the moment but if there are actually players interested... .. .

I had first thought this was going to be a badass crew of Firemen, and was going to direct Krunto your way. Sadly, I was mistaken, and now I am sad. :(

More archer love, though. Pls.

Hmm... Elven Arcane Archer Corps.

I would think that it would be more like a fireteam if you had a medic and a heavy gunner/ heavy hitter(Mage or perhaps even a tank or priest with some sort of hammer of the gods) Then two regular assault units...bowman with the ability to do some hand to hand combat. The medic taking the place of the assistant to the heavy gunner as there is no need for an ammo carrier bitch when there is more or less no heavy ammo with a heavy gun. Perhaps the heavy hitter could have a heavy crossbow if you're really just looking for a archer only fireteam. But odds are a squad of just archers is going to be a lot less powerful than expected and fireteams are all about fine tuning all the skills of 4 people into the best suited fighting force they can offer with minimal requirements. After I get my new computer I'd gladly join as a tank/ heavy hitter however you want me if it is going to be a human concept.

I was thinking something on the lines of a ftr/??? dual class team. Where the fighter class is a primary base for the feats which should  simply get archer feats at low levels. The other class would be the polish, the part that makes each PC special (an individual), say ftr/clr - ftr/brd - ftr/rog maybe even a straight ftr, etc.. Each man has his bow or crossbow ability but then each has his special area of expertise or MOS. Each would probably need point blank shot and either rapid reload or quick shot just to be able to shoot fast without error. From there make your own working on your MOS. This force would deal a lot of damage from a distance yet still be able to fight hand to hand and with the right group of players they would make the fight come to them and be able to take out enemies a piece at a time. Without the need of excessive potion buffs. None of them would be individual PvP kings but if they stuck together like the band of brothers they should be, PvP would be on an all for one, one for all type deal.

Give me at least two other players that say they like the concept and we can set something up in IRC to talk about it.
