I daresay anyone who chooses the career of an adventurer rather than the comfortable life of a philosopher has pretty low Wisdom. >_<

Stats are pretty artificial, and I generally don't worry about them too much. I have a character personality in mind, and then I allocate my stat points in a way that somewhat reflects it. The difference between Wisdom, Intelligence and Charisma is extremely artificial when it comes to your personality and mental facilities. No psychologists would ever split the human mind into three distinct and independent departments. They're intertwined. I like to think that a high Intelligence makes up for a low Wisdom and vice versa. In everyday decisions, at least. When it comes to understanding the secrets of the universe, they obviously work different. But I don't see why a 10/14 Wis/Int would be incapable of making the same conclusions and decisions as a 14/10 Wis/Int.

In the end though, you should just stick to what you think and defend your interpretation from lowly players and malicious DMs! Whether you can reasonably defend your interpretation or not is what determines its worth.
