Why can't I delete posts sometimes?

Anyone know why sometimes when I want to delete a post I stuck in the wrong forum, and I just that minute posted it, the delete button doesn't show?

Give it a minute. Edit, advanced option, make sure the delete post dot is filled and click the button.

You don't have permission in all forums. Most notably, perhaps, the application submission forum, because players would constantly post applications without polls, delete them, and repost them with polls. It drove me nuts because regular user deletion is only a shallow delete that hides the post from regular users but not administrators.
