New Executioner

Last night I saw a new executioner atop the Zig for the first time.  I'm assuming he was put in place for more flavor along with the extra colonists.  Did I miss an IG explanation somewhere as to why we suddenly have one, or was it a one-time leftover from a DM event?  Are we heralding in a darker Reign of Terror?  I wanna app for Robespierre!  Oh wait, he dies at the end....

Well even the laws say that for capital crime punishment is either exile or death. It's not that unusual.

Executing is very general punishment when normal locking up or fines do not just cut it anymore. Traitors or some are often executed, by hanging, burning, beheading or some other way.

What are you on about? An official executioner has been hired apparently. Criminals need to be executed, guess who will be doing it now. ;)

There have been quite a number of executions and this is not the first time this particular half-orc executioner has appeared to hack off heads.

I always thought he was just big-boned/muscular, not a half-orc. It was implied with his dialouge a few times I beleived, wasn't normal half-orc at all.

Yeah, I'm confused too. To me it looked like "yeah, let's station this guy RIGHT AT THE ENTRANCE, ALL THE TIME to put the fear of any given god into new crooks"
