Sticking it here because it's a to-do thing.

Post any and all questions regarding the new system you would like to have a clear and definitive answer to. User proper formatting (bullets are encouraged for multiple questions but not required, just make it easy to tell the questions apart) and, as far as possible, grammar. Try not to repost questions but feel free to expand upon other questions or look at them from different angles. Some manner of ordering would also be nice (if you have two questions about PvP, don't stick a question about taking quests in between).

There will be no answers in this thread. I will delete any I see.

[Edit]
When I said I would delete any answers in this thread, that applies to DMs as well.

Is Trapping changed in any way, without parties?

Will archers, pansy wizards, or other "backliners" receive less XP because they are typically further from the action?

Is there any way to keep tag-along PCs from hijacking their way onto a quest? I know that I personally prefer smaller quest groups and being able to invite/boot people with the party system was a handy way of allowing me to control that. Now, Joe Schmoe can just loiter next to a questgiver (or be sneakier about it), basically griefing their way onto a quest. And of course, accidents will happen too (although that's an easy fix).

I was fighting Nightrisers with the guard at the cage. I wasn't doing much damage, but each time he killed one, I got a paltry sum of XP, presumably for helping out. Is this working as intended?

Trapping is not changed.

You should not worry about people who hang back getting no xp, unless it's several screens away.

The range for adding people is small. You get a list of people who are in the quest when accepting it. This should make it so uninvited people shouldn't be able to come. Maybe I could up the range and make it so if you hostile someone nearby , he wont be added? But if its griefing... well, it's not tolerated so people shouldn't force themselves with a group.

There seemed to be a general agreement that documentation was lacking but judging from this thread it appears you don't much care at all.

Maybe you just need a little help:
  • What if somebody you don't consider an ally marks you an ally?
  • What if two characters have the same name and you mark one of them as an ally?
  • What if somebody you don't want on a quest is standing too close to the questgiver?
  • What if you're standing too close to a questgiver and added to a quest you don't want to go on?

Verybigliar

What if individual person leaves because of some sort conflict? If he ends the quest, does it end for everyone?

TheWastesAreFrozen

Yes it ends the quest for everyone just like before. People shouldn't have been ending quests alone before anyway IIRC.
