That's right my friends, a smooth criminal. All jokes aside, there is a great deal of fun to be had playing everything from con-artists and pickpockets to thugs and murderers. The options are limitless and come with many, many overlooked perks. You don't need to be a rogue to be a criminal and in fact, most classes can work quite well outside of Paladin and Druid.

So many people cry for a 'lower' sanctuary here and really all that needs to be done is for players to make one. While there are already efforts starting to be made IG to do similar things, more support would speed up the process and allow many characters to shine in the process.

I'm not very good at inspiring people through text, so hopefully someone (RWG *cough* ) can chime in with some awesomeness to help motivate you all into playing criminals.

Halfbrood

I fully endorse lawlessness and war on the establishment.

Sandstorm

SMOOTH CRIMINALS
All of the fun; none of the angst.

Dr Dragon

ALSO ANOTHER THING YOU DONT NEED TO BE GOOD AT PVP TO BE A CRIMINAL NON COMBAT BUILDS ARE EQUALLY SUFFICIENT!

HOW!?

1 The Loan Shark

The person lending money with high huge intrest rates this money lender is both a friend to the poor man or the rich aristocrat looking for a quick pay. The money lender usually has powerful friends or the money to insure his due is collected Through your skill at lending you can probably make tons of gold.

2 The Fencer

Your a merchant but not like any other merchant you've no problem selling illegal and stolen goods. A businesses man that buys good from criminals and doesn't ask questions the person criminals visit when they want to sell things of a person they just robbed or murdered. The fencer deals in all manner of stolen goods even stolen slaves. This fencer is an asset to any true gangster.

3 The Messenger/Ambasador

Surprising to most a Messenger is a one true asset to any gangster. Be it someone to post illegal posters write death threats and messages to others meet with others to discuss goals on behalf of a criminal sometimes these messengers pretend to be someone else! A paranoid criminal uses the messenger to sometimes pretend to be himself so that when the police bust someone they only bust a messenger. The messenger is a true asset to any thug.

4 The Cheat

A Cheat is sometimes a one man job that consists of many people. The cheat does what he can to make money from buffing a warrior before a tournament . The cheat often has others helping him cheat on events. From a man wishing to win or a gambler wishing to ensure he profits the cheat is a special kind of gangster.

5 The informant

(It is fun trust me)

a Spy or infiltrator working for a criminal. They can spy on police spy on enemy groups or spy on anyone although often spies dont directly kill people sometimes the information they acquire can ensure a person dies a spy is an asset to any true gangster and if a spy has contacts a spy can be one of the most deadliest forms of gangsters who can kill anyone he wants without lifting a finger a true gangster and force to be reckoned with. Corrupt officials or guardsmen often make loads of money.

TheImpossibleDream

What tends to kill of some rookie criminals is poor team work! Don't fall into this trap. If Makumbo dropped low, for example, the entire party would drop everything run over and heal him, same for any other person who happened to be in our posse at the time. Team work is essential to be successful in the underworld.

Sure you might get paid more if something were to happen to Bill, but when Sam McPaladin and his ganksquad come knocking you're going to be happy for the extra support.

Thrall

What about gangs? They do teamwork...or do kill each other work.

Caddies

I fully endorse players sampling EFU:A's underworld. One of the three major EFU DM factions is a highly secretive criminal organization, if the 'Applications' page is to be believed...

Well considering the amount of lawful groups, I think gangs would not be fighting amongst themselves over petty issues UNTIL they've got a niche worth fighting over.

Behemoth

I wish to see more around. Let there be chaos, join the gobsquat criminals, play around the Hanged Goblin. Criminals are fun to play.
