Despite the fact that many seem to be against this, I'd suggest apping for it if you have a grand idea. If it's great and you get it approved, then start doing awesome stuff for the plot quality of the server, you'll find that several players will chage their mind about it, calling your character "epic" and whatnot.

Not werelion, no. But Rakshasas would make nice were tigers. Hound archons could make a good were creature as well. Minotaurs for were cows... Yantii for were snakes. Lots of options.


The difficulty with this sort of suggestion, however... Is that creating a subrace is a fair time investment for the DMs. I could see them, maybe, making this if the app was good enough. But not as something that is just sitting around ready to use.

And there is the whole... extreme xenophobic nature of this specific were creature. Their sole motivation is food. They do not, under any but the most extreme of circumstances leave their lair. They can survive weeks without food so those extreme circumstances become even more incredibly rare... I can't honestly see them as a player race.

I think I'm going to just state for the record that no sub race suggestion made on this forum will be implemented, ever. If we don't already have it it's obscure enough that we'd only add it given an (approved) application.
