It would be very useful if you could buy bags with reduced *container* weight. That is, not Magic bags, but just bags that are more expensive and weigh maybe 0.2lbs. Bags are brilliant to organise inventories, but they are a significant weight to low STR chars, especially low STR chars who carry reagents.

I HATE CUSTOM BAGS!

Aren't bags like .5 or 1 pound?

Egon the Monkey

1lb. But considering how useful they are to sort out your inventory in case of a fugueing, or for carring reagents, and how they add up on low STR chars, light ones would be nice to see more of.

I agree with egon, if i could i'd have arroung 5 in my inventorty, yet when you can carry no more then 100lbs 5lbs are significant.

Letsplayforfun

They existed in old EfU as drops on some quests, but were rare, and i think should be kept rare. They are after all magical bags, and the usual ones many of leather, not modern lightweightplastic.

Weight is an issue, but doesn't need custom bags to be solved: carry less junk, specialize in wares you want to sell, sell heavy stuff for cheaper to merchants who accept it, manage your inventory to match the uses of regeants you do each day, etc.

And of course, you can also play a 12-14 strength spellcaster, which also helps.

Magical bags are great as DM loot, imo.

Never said i did otherwise, only with his equipment (the one he uses) Isendel is over 70 lbs, leaving room for 30 lbs as loot. So it's kinda important to me.

I would think if you want to carry around tons of bag loads of items you'd best invest in a few more points of strength, despite being a wizard, sorcerer etc.

Pack mule = lag increase
I advise for magical bag very rare.
