Planting areas

"Underdark - Rotlands" and "Underdark - Windy Canyon - Beyond"  are both very natural areas with lots of growth. The former seems to be especially ideal for some mushrooms to grow from the rot and is filled with them. I tried to grow some mushrooms though but neither are counted as planting areas. Could this possibly be changed?
