Dark Lake underwater

I imagine the Dark Lake as both a place of exotic alien underwater beauty and terrifying horror. Where you could be swimming through a breathtaking (har har, get it? Underwater, tangle kelp, breath taking) floral seascape that may quickly shift to a dangerous and malicious terrain the deeper you go where the shadows cast by glowing fungi hold aquatic monsters that challenge sanity.

Or deep underwater trenches of inky blackness and barren sandbeds of utter desolation in a muddy and dirty lakebed. Oh there are just so many possibilities that make me squirm! I know with my love of aquatic stuff this is a totally biased suggestion but I think it would still be nice for creepy water cultists or Umberlee followers, or even maybe something darker...

So yes. It would be nice if we can get a swimming option along the shore of the dark lake, either into a system of sea caves or out into the lake itself, or both.

I have to agree. Underwater areas for the Dark Lake would be sick.  Especially if they made use of some of the new hak tilesets.

Sounds like a cool idea. As mentioned above haks would open op the possiblity of exotic monsters and terrain, wich is a must imo.

It'd be interesting to see how this could be done; especially given the size and magnitude of Dark Lake. I would suggest small caverns deep underneath that provide respites for air, so that there's -some- hope of survival for lung breathers :rolleyes:

I think this is a great idea, maybe have a bunch of small caves near the old docks area and then an actual lake area. Kind of like the sea floor of EFU:A and EFU:M.
