Give him the ability to cure and heal diseases, poison, and wounds please. As a Illmateri, he has to make his services known and given, right, help those who are hurt etc...

I mean, just give him the Grumbar dialogue but make it sound illmaterish, Remove disease ....please...remopve my disease

If I am not mistaken he is a Paladin, not a Cleric.

Still can apply. Paladins can remove disease and assuming he's got a resonable Heal skill he could heal PCs via mundane methods as well.

Now having him just apply heal bags would be cool (or salutary tonics, or antitoxins).  Could an NPC be scripted with an unlimited supply of those items to use them on command?  Sometimes they would work, sometimes not!

Why not just get a PC to do it? More interaction = better.
