The Mythallar level room is fairly good idea, I agree. However, I do still think taverns themselves could offer these sort of study/cabinet rooms (depending what fits to the tavern in question). It is practical and promotes the taverns as gathering places for events.

Taverns could have cabinet space for patrons to have private gatherings. That is simply part of business of tavern. I see no fictional/lore issue there.

I suppose there could be rented out by hour system, if one wants IG gold and locked doors involved. Personally simple cabinet spaces without extra scripting needed would do fine.

Inn-rooms aren't really ideal for private meetings anyhow, no tables or chairs to speak of. Private rooms have the same issue, at least the meetings I have attended have been sit on the floor -type (adding tables and chairs to private rooms might not be a bad idea?).

Any chance of meeting rooms that are not meant for resting (resting not possible) and can't be bought off exclusively? Maybe a meeting cabinet or two at Kingsman?

Pissing Crone had nice little scheming rooms for instance and the library at the Last Stand was useful as well.

As a person who likes exploring the world, especially in small groups, I would welcome more meaningful "peaceful" destinations. I did enjoy travelling to places like Blue Mushroom, the Necromancer's hideout (whatever the bar's name was), Fort Mur, Shadow Tribe, countless small mysterious caverns that weren't about killing things.

Granted, I might not know of all the ones that exist, but few more common knowledge destinations would not hurt?

Aren't the rats unique blueprints (not default Bioware ones), so you can change the line they use? I think next patch is a bit unlikely at this point.

They are both dead? That was slightly unexpected!

Damn. Both of them seemed to have just the right attitude to get few (unspecified) matters done.

I did have good times, so thank you both.

I've told Dan that dinosaurs are the most important thing there is, maybe he is finally listening!

Unnaturally lucky at gambling, I say! NO HARD FEELINGS. But I guess the luck runs out at some point, even with Tymora. Was great to have fellow sailor character about.

He actually sort of made it out alive based on epilogue I got... it took him 100 years of hell however. So I guess I can use him in 4th edition or something!

I agree to original post at some level.

The Way quest (as I understand) supports only characters are really strong and maxed. There is no way for more diplomatic sort characters to wait and move as one big effort with NPCs currently... it would be realistic to think that less combat oriented ones would move with the big party that had remains of watch, seekers and heroes like Matterheim, undefeated Pit master of the Pissing Crone, Cyrus Doors and Bresley.

I mean, if these NPCs will eventually shop up above...why not PCs with them.

Suggestions / Wastrel Inn could have a map marking

As it is well known establishment by now, would be convenient to have it marked on the map.

Bug Reports / Mythallar - Clerk Jaenette

Clerk Jaenette keeps repeating that "someone is sitting on her seat". Perhaps someone should move from her seat or she should be content about standing? :)

Area: Island - Colony- Docks - Interior
Place: Southeast corner door that leads to the sewers is connected to the wrong door when going from " Island - Colony- Docks - Interior" => Sewers.

The bug was verified by Secutor in game.

Bug Reports / Sewer rat voicesets

Some of the rats or direrats (hard to tell which) have demon voice set with booming voice. I presume the rats are not possessed... even if they are vile.

Suggestions / Trash barrel to Wenston's Tavern
November 30, 2009, 10:16:02 PM
People seem to divide a lot of loot there, would be useful to have a trash barrel for all the trash.
