Dear Magus Rezhir,
I continue to wonder where these rumors of an adversarial relationship stem from. So strange for me, who voted for the League of White's candidate in the past two elections, including Legate Alexandria herself, to receive a letter from both her Vizier and Prelate claiming that such a thing exists.
Could it be that you, her, and Prelate are merely puppets of the Sisters of the Sibylline Vine and listen to anything they say as if it is undeniable truth?
If you doggedly pursued the tenets of my League and did not heed the words of mystery cultists or religious fanatics, you should have no quarrel with me. My desires have been simply stated from the start, that my League serve the People and not serve any member of the Accord above the others.
It is a simple desire, the barest minimum in truth, yet still, it remains beyond your type to perform. Alexandria has been extremely candid about her obeisance and obedience to the Grandmaster and the Priory. She has made clear that she will give them anything they need to see this world and its people destroyed and replaced with another.
But my arguments are essentially a waste of ink when I write to those who already so eagerly pursue Her ends, so I would better serve myself by asking you a single question for my research. What are your thoughts on the taste of Haoma?
Regards,
Estellise Azimi
