Volume III: ...of the Parable of Charity, or How Baz'eel Became Most Glorious in the Wheel
In the great desert city of Baz'eel,
Where wealth and opulence were very real,
Live the Ashfolk, a humble and kind-hearted clan,
Who understood the virtue of lending a helping hand.
In this bustling city of dinars and jewels,
The meek and the poor were oft thought as fools,
But between those in need and those with excess,
Was a lesson in which the Ashfolk invest.
A parable they shared - one son, unassuming,
Whose mind was enlightened and heart's light ilumined,
Did share dinars freely, without any greed,
And found his wealth growing with each noble deed.
For when he gave to the poor and the needy,
His blessing of prosperity grew more freely,
The more that he shared, more abundance he found,
His station and wealth expanding all 'round.
Word of this generous man quickly spread,
And as one, the people of Baz'eel turned their heads,
They marveled at his fortune, his status and fame,
And they realized the prize only charity claimed.
The wealthy, too, began to understand,
That giving generously could expand their own land,
For 'twas in the act of giving they found,
The growth of their influence was most profound.
The streets of Baz'eel were a sight to behold,
As the spirit of giving began to unfold,
The families of Coin, inspired by one son,
All embraced charity, together as one.
The city thrived as this cycle continued,
The rich giving freely, all misgivings soothed,
With the understanding that in giving, they'd gain,
Not just material wealth, but respect and acclaim.
And so, the parable of Baz'eel's grace,
Teaches us the value of charity's embrace,
For in giving much, we sow the seed,
That sprouts into wealth yet overcomes greed.
So mind well the lesson of this Ashfolk's tale:
Strive hard to give well and you shall not fail -
For in charity lies the secret, you see,
To a prosperous and harmonious society.
