A threat to the security of the Palatial Pyramid, made on the bellows, caused its function to cease briefly today, until it was discovered there was no such danger. This and other minor disturbances in the past precipitate my motion here.
We wish this Article to protect Ephia's Well in the Penal Code in these ways:
- To prevent disturbances that would halt or greatly stall governmental proceedings
- To secure the processes of government from being fulfilled
- To ensure all lawful, pious, and required activities of government employees and officials are not interfered with
- To maintain the sanctity and civility of the grounds of the Palatial Pyramid
- To punish those who seek to undermine the above in ways that do not violate the prohibitions currently published in the Penal Code
We do not wish this Article to convey these misunderstandings or similar:
- That the Voiced may not articulate their rights and voices
- That the will of the Legates are not overridden during official proceedings
- That Janissaries not unduly overbear on official proceedings, only persecute those who would threaten the security of the Pyramid's grounds or disrupt the function of government
