Hello Aubrey Domergue,

I write to you in hopes to be able to speak to you in person. I understand you're a very busy person and it would be at your connivence. I seek to join the Balladeers, after being told many stories from your Balladeers as well as the Sisters I yearn for the chance to wear the glorious cloak of the Rose. I believe myself prepared to represent the Balladeers and I hope that I might assist in the quest of all quest. In truth I wish to be a hero like you all are, I wish tales to written of my great deeds, I wish to know what it feels like to be apart of something so much greater then me.

I'm unlike your others in my learned skillsets and natural ones as well but I assure you my wanting of this is just as strong. I seek you for your blessing, I've been told you're Lyrist and while other Balladeers believe in me it would mean a lot to hear your opinion of myself!

Sincerely, Solina Lyonsen to be Famed Monster Hunter of The Well

[The letter is written on fairly standard parchment and with black ink however the letter itself has been wrinkled a fair bit.]

Dear, Condottiero Louis d'Armagnac

It's with great regret I even have to write this letter but I fear one of your newer recruits is not doing Banda's name justice. I forget his name but he's likely your only elven mage among your numbers and I assume you'll know who I speak of. On more then one occasion the elf boast of his skill with his magic and yet in just as many occasions he fails to apply said magic in a meaningful way. Anytime something goes south on a job he routinely avoids all responsibility in the matter and then actively tries to shift the blame to others. I was the target for this behavior on two different occasions. The details of the first are all but lost to me as it was quite some time ago but I'll try to explain it regardless.

The first instance of this poor and unprofessional attitude was during a job. I'm a professional rock thrower and while I'm not perfect and perhaps throw to close to allies I generally do my best to avoid any devastating mistakes and for the most part have done so. However he claimed I threw a rock on him SEVERAL times and by rock I mean a boulder that would even make an orc seem small. The issue here is he's invisible and I would argue it his job to react to said rocks as nobody can see him.

The second instance of this, was recent and during a big job, lower board activities and such. Karim was a witness to this and while I can't say if he agrees with the elf in his blame during this activity he might be able to provide some details in person if you do not wish to speak to me or wish to verify my claims. Several others also witnessed this, Galen being a notable warrior who holds respect by most and I directly work for at the time this happened and of writing this. We entered hobgoblin territory and where met shortly with what only could be described as a literal army of them. All was well at first and frankly stayed well except a particular big one took an interest in me, I knew I could not stand toe to toe with such a foe in martial combat, not even my spells would allow me to do so so I retreated backwards in hopes that one of our own warriors would assist me. Such did not happen quickly however and while I retreated the elf I speak up was struck down and harshly. Long story short he blames me for this error of his, as he should have proper spells up or ready to be cast in such an event but regardless he wasted no time in giving me a mouthful the moment he pushed himself off the ground and this verbal abuse continued for much of the journey back to the Well. I admit I'm no saint and told him to shut his mouth and be a better mage among other words that are far less nice to say the least.

Regardless, I write this letter as I found his conduct and such to be alien to the rest of your great men and women that I get along with great and do much work with. He sours your reputation as others hold this same opinion of mine. I do not dare suggest what you do with your own people, I simply wished to inform you of his behavior and general lack of common sense.

Professional Rock Thrower, Valerie Jade
