QuoteBackground:
Of a minor Ward noble family, her parents made the mistake of putting her in the care of a cleric of Sa'i in her early years, which lead her down an occultist truth-seeking path. She asked many scandalous questions about the role of the Ward, the King and the rule of the major families and was unable to accept the legitimacy of the answers against all conventional sense.

Her rebellious/inquisitive demeanour worsened overtime as she dabbled in unseemly practices such as wizardry. Even going so far as to be seen in the presence of nonhumans. This culminated in her family demanding she give up her awful work and settle down. She instead fled the household intent on delving into mystery and the esoteric with naive optimism.

  • The character was obsessed with oaths and had willingly bound herself in a self-made geas to never outright lie, thinking it would give her a power similar to the oathsworn. The idea was to try and use the truth as a weapon and to hide what is under the guise of mystery and metaphor, to both give revelation and subvert the Ring Laws. To her purposelessness was anathema, and she would try to help guide her opponents even if it was to her detriment.

  • She had a heretical belief similar to the Nine-Faced-God. She thought that every idea or concept was based on a fundamental truth which derives from God (S'ai) and saw the Truine as a step up the ladder to divine comprehension and power. She saw wizardry and clerical magic as two-sides of the same coin - a way to reach god. Revelation was a sacred event, a step towards enlightenment.

  • The first couple of weeks she tried to organise a wizard convention under the thumb of Nephezar and was horrified when it resulted in outright murder. Since each wizard she encountered appeared hopelessly mad she instead aspired to use the Truine as a means to elevate herself for her own spiritual advancement.

  • While searching for answers and knowledge, her greatest source of understanding came from Aszanaj Vohm.  Each moral compromise she made gave her far more power and knowledge than she ever had pursuing her own humble ascetism.

  • Finding another with a past so much like herself in Rosalia, and then working out her secrets, combined with Aszanaj's knowledge eventually lead to her reluctantly, then ardently supporting the Knaves. First she renounced ascetism. Then her old teacher for his failings. By the end she had gone to evil, willing to accept that the ends justify the means. Which was ultimately what killed her.

  • If she had continued she either would have joined House Senuspur directly, or tried to make House Greywood the fifth house. If it went to her design the house would have become more alike to House Nephezar, except with divine wizards searching for godly knowledge instead of holy sorcerers.

You always play my favourite PCs. Amazing fun and executed without peer. I'm awful at screenshots but I found this.

I support this for completely unbiased reasons.

Loved our chat in the dark hours. Also him just appearing out of nowhere here and there. Trying to spot him with divination was a fun game.

Fantastic rat that brought a lot of terror to the Ward. I really enjoyed the back and forth you had with the entire Peerage.
