Esteemed Members of the White League,

Only a tenday ago, I arrived at this Well.  A dinar-less refugee from the Wastelands of the Sands. I endured many scorn-filled glances that relayed "Another urchin?  Another refugee to feed?"  In hindsight, I suppose I cannot blame them.  Such could be true if I wasn't graced with both luck and fortune to make it here and without serious injury or disease.

Members of this League, however, were among the first to welcome me.  To see me provided with food, blanket, and conversation.  It is due to this welcomed embrace, that I commit myself this day to the tenets of this guild.  It is because of you; I wear the White.

As I understand it, election cycle approaches.  I was once a minor aristocrat within my village.  I wish to learn who is our Candidate for this election cycle and learn how I may be of assistance seeing one of our members as a Legate. 

I shall be about often.  Please feel free to approach me and share salutations.

Ivasaar Veverell

Ah.  That might be what it is.  I have a number of items adding to tumble, but not ranks.  Thank you Don!

I play Ivasaar Veverell, a 7th level sorcerer (Eldritch Archer).  I have 19 Dex and 10 Tumble points.  However, my AC is only 14.  I don't ever see any AC bonuses.  I think this is a bug?

I hope my letter finds you in a warm room with a cold drink.  We have not yet met, however I write to express my gratitude for the Well taking in refugees.  This Well has been an answer to much of my dreams.  To that end, I wish to see this place protected.  I have already seen up close craven of the Pra'Raj, who seek to do much to undermine this place.  Perhaps if you have time, we could share a few words.  For now, I wish to express to you my interest in enlisting within the Fourth Legion.

A great time to start up a Watchman type character.  Perhaps you are a freedom fighter from Little Ticker?  Or, perhaps you are tired and flat broke ?  Just about any angle works as long as you include some manner of Peerage Politics in it.

Congrats friend!!  My interactions with Jacho were fun, interesting, and so different.  I always appreshate his wayward spirit and tutelage that he offered generously.  I am so excited for you!  And, I will miss Jacho on the server!

Another truly amazing and interesting character!  I am so bummed her story came to a close.  She was very inspirational to my current character and no doubt left a profound mark on the server.  I truly look forward to RPing with your next character.

The Blackjacks

The King's Militia, most often called the "Blackjacks," are in theory the guards and soldiers of Ring 99. What they lack in pay, equipment and respect, they more than makeup for with incompetence and low corruption, leaving them ill-suited to handle even the petty crimes they're supposed to be policing.

Recommended Alignment: Neutral (But any will work)
Recommended Class: Fighter, Barbarian, Rogue
Recommended Race: Any (no monstrous creatures)

Current Setting: The Peerage Ward is now in open rebellion to the Usurper Count.  The Count loving "Redjacks" have been thrown out and the old "Blackjacks" have returned.  Recently, a beloved Mayor of Little Ticker (Tolinar Mistbourne) was killed by a Peerage retainer(s). The result was mass riots and destruction of Little Ticker.  In the aftermath, House Velstra has been vocal and forthright attempting to fill the void left by House Glitt.  They even offered up two elven retainers as a means to establish trust?  Blackjacks currently flood the streets as a show of force (and perhaps opportunities to make a few groat). 

The King's Militia lack respect and recognition from anyone.  They have a long history of corruption, abuses of power, and incompetence.  Yet, they have a number of Blackjacks who still wear the unform.  Why?

For anyone wanting to play a City Watch type of character that is Peerage focused, now is an excellent time.  You can expect to be actively involved in Peerage politics, PvP, and most likely will die in a gutter.  However, it will be the most exciting of stories to tell.  If you have any questions, feel free to hit me up on Discord (#Domare).  We currently have two active players.  Got room for a lot more.  Some ideas to inspire other ideas could be:

• You grew up in Little Ticker or the Steading.  You have seen firsthand the threats posed to those you love.  You finally decided to do something about it.
• You are poor without any opportunities. Perhaps being one of those Blackjacks will provide you just what you need to make sure you sleep on clean sheets, drink cold ale, and get the attention of the ladies?
• You are a religious sort.  You have taken vows of poverty and service.  What better way to fulfill your vow, then to do the awful work of a Blackjack?
• Back in your day, you were a Mercenary of fecking legend.  That was until you suffered a critical injury.  You now hobble around the Peerage in a Blackjack uniform.  At least you get paid for doing nothing.
• You grew up a street urchin.  Collecting information and using that information to your benefit has kept you alive and paid.  This Blackjack gig is exactly what you need to keep it going.

A truly epic and inspiring character.  She did well blending nobility with the wilds of the ponds.  She is missed. 

Hello All,

If you ever wanted to play a character who bucked the current Peerage System, then now is the time.  Lots of fun RP happening, which could use a bit more of King Fearing / Loyalists.  Being we are the underdogs, we can get by with the "ends justify the means" mentality.

The Quartermaster Cloak (Drape) charges a significant amount of coin, rather then favor points to purchase.  If you inspect the Drape, it is listed as favor points, but a character can only obtain it through coin.
