Second, usually when folks are asking for the Capital Crime they usually want less details, y'know, not more. Or a paper trail. Whatever slavery you and the Prelate want to do with the Lizards is your business.

Contract 2 Summary:

Part 1: I find Lizards. I come back. I report where Lizards are.

Part 2: How much muscle: However much I can muster?
Who will command: Me? Unless the Balestriere orders otherwise since I got no say on that.
What orders will they follow: Bring back a Lizard alive so the Prelate and Colmes can do their magics on it and send it on its merry. Preferably one higher up the food chain.

Warmaster Colmes, in two days time, wants Captain Karstwen and Me to help tracking and hunting of Three Blood Beasts that were brought back by carrier from the War Mission South. They melted her and fled into the desert. He wants us and the Torches scouting. Told him 1,000 per beast. 3,000 for the mission.

Contract 2

Warmaster and Prelate want to capture a Lizard. Partly for interrogation, partly for some black magic shit. Price is 5,000 Dinar.

Colmes is offering half upfront to do scoutwork of finding a camp or den where they've got someone pretty high up their heirarchy, half for live capture and bringing to Ephia's Well.

He said he wants me to scout out turf but that he'd welcome muscle on this job and I figure we got that in spades.

Give it your mark Boss and I'll see it his way along with the bloodbeast bounty contract.

Prelate, Captain.

Cheers for the chat. Woke up in a pool of my own sick but this time it wasn't because I felt trapped or confused. Just cheap wine. The talk about a lot of chapters, and the Captain's time as a nun, and all that. It got me thinking and I guess it's just good to feel useful. That's what I'm after. I'm good what I do. Even if folk don't much know it yet. Not much use in politics and street fights and chest beating. Which is where I guess the disconnect came.

I'm learning a lot with the company, growth and all that like you said. It's different being in a military outfit, a company. Not bad. Just different. The lessons, the protocols, the logistics. It's all shit I never really dealt with before. There's some professionalism there. I guess you can call it polish.

Dunno what the future holds, but give'em hell on mission.
