Karrick Thorne was a simple man. He is now dead. Here are some things.

Karrick Thorne is a man whose mind was sundered and put back together as a result of the appearance of the Red Star. Though he is capable of rational thought, he too is unable to control all the facets of his mind. The chaotic nature of the Red Star left something of a bridge between his mental space, and the material plane. It's not a pleasant experience for Karrick, though he can project his thoughts into physical manifestations, it comes at the cost of comfort, lucidity, and sanity.

When he first arrived to Sanctuary, he really only stumbled around repeating what everyone else was saying. During a moment of temporary lucidity he approached Intryzz of the Pyrimo and begged him to take him in. To fix his mind, and make the pain go away. Intryzz agreed, should Karrick organize a grand Pyrimo event successfully.


He did, and after the event Intryzz took him in, and went into his mind...




Once within his mind, he came upon a fragment of himself who was trying to stop him. The fragment warned Karrick that what the Mindflayer was going to do was not mend him, but make him into a weapon. Karrick was fine with this.




He fought his fragmented mind, and when he awoke he was covered in a new armor, and his face was painted to make him more handsome.







And well, the rest is history.

I can cast on the Inkwell and get told its price, but if I cast it on the scroll I get a failure. I did have a surplus of gold and XP. It was cast on a spell scroll not a note.

November has been pretty good. I as a player feel like my plots have been paid attention to and can see other PC plots blossoming as well. There's been a good amount of independent events as well, and I feel a good balance has been struck between supporting PCs and one-offs.

The only thing I'd really improve on is maybe a bit more rumors about PC plots to hook other players who might have missed it into PC shenanigans.

I am happy to make the move over to Enhanced Edition, and help in any way I can with whatever is needed for it. I think NWN:EE could be amazingly huge, if they do it right. We all need to advertise for it though, and spread the word. I HOPE that Beamdog advertises the huge amount of Multiplayer content, but they may focus on SP as everyone else always does.

I am going to try my hand at scripting something like this Loot Bag. I'll let you know if I figure something out!

There were definitely some promising notes in the live stream. Mostly that the community would be driving development and patches, nwnx is getting officially supported, they're doing bug/crash/exploit fixes, they're putting up a master server to find games with a list again, and the things that others above me pointed out.

I am cautiously optimistic, and if this could bring in new players I would be all for making the switch (which should be fairly painless, but we all know how that can turn out.)

This could be huge. It's available to wishlist on Steam. If NWN goes to steam that's massive.

What are your expectations of a good player? Should they cater to the enjoyment of other PCs, or would you prefer they look after their own interests and fun first?

Can we get a new necromancer to take over Thomas' shop? Maybe little withering Molly wants to be like daddy.

I love this idea. Maybe tie it into the rent system and require a certain amount of points invested/wk instead of money. Owning the Grove maybe gives speed bonuses or other things while in it!

• It'd be great if the Bone dancer flavor of the Bone Pit didn't have all the monsters bumrush you at the start.
• Hook Horrors quest in the Further Reaches could use some more loot love.
• Maybe look at Veras temple on the dark lake. I feel like it'd be done more without all the rockfall traps? I don't know. I like this quests idea, but groups think it's tedious.

Phenomenal. I enjoyed Isedreus and Seramyssa both.
