Stealth is incredibly powerful as it is in every aspect of efu rwg so your points are pretty moot about the sparseness of them. Quality over quantity and all.

As for explorable loot containers. If a solution was desirable for this then adding a key to the strongest monster of the explorable and locking all containers would be it.

I do wish that explorable entrances would despawn after the chests were opened/monsters were defeated.

This is hard coded. It can be used by all clerics or no clerics. You can't specify by domain for item use.

Suggestions / Some Rothive suggestions

The quest itself isn't very rewarding at the moment, but I noticed a big issue that make the quest a huge slog. Immunes. They currently have 29-30 ac and are as the name suggests immune to most things that lower ac.

I would suggest ONE of the following:

- Reduce their ac by 3
- Lower their concentration significantly
- Replace the majority of them with evocti or another weaker counterpart

As for the loot on the quest it would be fine if ONE of the following was done:

- The gold reward increased by about a third of the present value
- The dissipating tag was removed from all of the dropped items
- The search checks on containers was no longer required

Suggestions / Teaching Monk Stances
June 09, 2017, 08:08:42 PM
I had a thought recently about monk stances. They're nice and flavourful. Reasonably strong, but not hugely. It would be fun if you could teach stances to other monks through sparring with them while using the stance. It could be a low chance each time you hit the monk or each time you subdue them with sparring mode. Sure it could probably be gamed, but I think it'd be a fun little flavour to be able to pass on the knowledge of stances through combat. Rival monks might even involuntarily share their stances with opponents when they use it against them.

Odds of learning the stance could even tie into skills like spot/listen or wisdom. Just a thought anyway. A really minor thing.

Neither do Ysinode War Horrors(hook horror model) or enthrallment spheres.

Ysinode Spider Drones, Enthralled drow etc don't either, but I imagine that is intentional.

The items are completely random chance after having killed several lowerdark monsters and provides a few charges of expeditious retreat. I think people are over-reacting hugely.

Edit: Forgot to mention they're exclusive to Knights of the New Path. Probably a semi important detail.

This is a hard coded thing with monks and speed increasing effects. It lasts 5 rounds at a time and needs to be reused repeatedly (each use takes 1 round to activate). A non monk speedfreak would only move  at about the same speed as haste. Level 9 monks are very fast when combined with movement speed buffs.

Bug Reports / Faction Bug on Lift to the Lowerdark
June 06, 2017, 09:38:38 PM
Certain monsters on the lift from the mount of Magnatz to the Lowerdark such as bats/dire bats cause the lizardfolk to go hostile when they are engaged. This resulted in a player being slaughtered brutally by him. This should be fixed rather urgently as it can trap you upon the lift.

Character that was killed and respawned as a result of this bug's name is Jaqicho Woodwright who the lizardfolk turned to attack after he engaged the bats.

A lot can happen on that long walk to the canal ward.

The potions and equipment he sells (the full plate in particular) are born of an old DM initiative whereby every 10,000 gold in the donation bowl provided the faction with a tangible perk. I'd be willing to wager a DM would be willing to help you out if you were willing to raise the money to further expand the stock of the watcher merchant with more low cost potions. Though there already is a see invis/day item that can be purchased with favor.

Sealed Cat Emblazoned Tome

Blessed by the goddess Sharress this tome is a relic of the goddess' more ancient following. Upon breaking the seal the reader would find naught but strange hieroglyphs of various feline entities. Unbeknownst to them the readers body would change such that they took a form more feminine and feline. Clearly these tomes were meant only for the eyes of the devout, yet just the same it would not be difficult for anyone to open.

Special Property: Cursed

Upon reading the character gains EITHER charisma = highest ability score OR if charisma is their highest ability score they may choose one score and raise it to same amount as their charisma. However they always gain feline features including a cat like tail and a model swap to female to represent overly feminine appearance.

I managed to find a work-around for this this by resting, waiting several minutes and then using a different stance. The bug whereby you can use the stance immediately despite the message saying you must wait one turn remains and doing so will cause you to be unable to use any stance until the next rest.

Bug Reports / Lizard Stance bugs out monk stances
May 24, 2017, 04:17:02 PM
After learning the lizard stance from a scroll the monk will forever be unable to use a stance more than once per rest. Initially it could be used after a period of 10 or 20 minutes. Additionally every time you rest you get the dialogue "You can use stances again in 1 turn." This is erroneous as your stance can be used immediately, but will never recharge.

I've had the city ganksquad come to my lair. It can be difficult to escape, but I think one of the major risks to having a lair should be that you are very likely to get cornered and trapped within it. They give a number of huge mechanical advantages such as a means to get to level 8 without ever questing and certain item spawns/merchants to make up for it.

Maybe making the exits a little bit wider might be helpful though.
