I couldn't agree more with this. I hate the idea of percentage-heath traps. HP is given out on dice-rolls.. and HP tanking traps should be a viable strategy.

while I personally do like Discord, I feel like having two global communication solutions might split the community.

What I mean by this is that conversations that would keep a community alive in IRC might be held in discord, and vice versa, creating a kind of 'you have to be in both to get the full picture' situation.
