Good times with Brjax and the ever-changing crew.  I think you'd be happy to know that yer alchemy helped me on a few occasions.  Hope to see a new char soon.

I found that when I didn't have 'regular' time to play it worked best playing a druid.  Even missing months of time I could get back into the groove, so to speak.  The plot themes are far more broad and allow for extended leaves.  Even if you miss a plot, you can still go out and do druid things, and fuck with the citizenry.  EfU is set-up very nicely to play an occasional druid if you like.

VP:  I agree.  I just meant if the DM team wanted to make potion use (particularly endless healing) somewhat limited, this might be a compromise that eases the strain on lower levels who depend on the weaker healings w/o making it easier for high-lvl potion hoarders.  I personally would love all potions to stack to fifty and would be fine with it.

Of course skilled players have and do get by this limitation just fine.  It just seems the limitation must be there for a reason.  If it's not a problem with the DMs, I'm fine with opening it up.

Realistically this only applies to healing potions.  No one ever needs more than ten of any potion other than healing in a single encounter.  If you do, it's an odd situation and you should adapt or die.  But making healing stack to fifty would be nice.  If the DMs are worried about healing drink contests, just limit it to healing below Serious.  Keep Serious and Critical to 10 per stack.  Though these days it may be suitable to allow further stacking of Serious healing as it seems people are generally higher level these days.

At the very least I suggest making all Moderate Healing and lower stack to fifty.

Sounds like Laman and Brjax could have been allies if circumstances were different.  I was definitely curious about his motivations IG.

Brjax Rollonsen started as a char just to get me back in the swing of EfU before making a 'real' character. He ended up being fun to play despite being of the maligned barbarian class.  In fact, his 'Curse' of the 'Cursed' perk saved him more than once, and even appeared in PvP twice. He ended up getting hooked up with Ophelia and the Mystrylites, and eventually the rebellion and collection of the Golden Goose relics.

BRIEF history: Brjax was cast out of his tribe after he literally transformed into a giant, raging beast during a typical raid around the Ten Towns.  He spent the next 20+ years educating himself and learning of the wider world, including magic.

(Should've been level 10 but lost 9763 xp without even dying.  Be careful what choices you make.  Heh.)

I have many screenshots, but these are likely the ones most would want to see.

Questioning Commander Barkely.

If only I had had an endurance potion for that 1 more point of Fortitude!  A cool death, though.

Special thanks to Ironside, Halfbrood, Elmo, SwiftRed, abala, crimmage, Alcodwarf, and the player of Wulfric.  Many others of course, too.  Very special thanks to Dina for playing the Khaleesi to my Jora (sans the betrayal part)!

Lina was great.  A really dynamic yet somehow consistent PC.  She will be missed!

This is a result of the script trying to prevent things like +1 ac bracers (which are now pretty rare, but used to be fairly common back in the day) from adding to regular worn armor.  So, you can't wear full plate and get the bonus from the bracers, too.  Since the 'Armor of the Wilds' doesn't recognize the +1 on the clothes, but the script does, you end up with -1 ac penalty.
