Great characters all around, I enjoyed every interaction, even when captured and sold back to Sanctuary.  Very courteous in PVP.

Nooooo! Seren was great, I'm sad she died so soon after RPing with her for the first time.

You are right, I got it after the most recent reset.  I was just confused because I was getting the traps pre-level 5.  Thank you!

Bug Reports / Bounty Hunter level 1 perk
March 02, 2017, 06:27:10 AM
GSID: DinaServes
Character name: Selina Harding

The fighter bounty hunter perk says it gives "Level 1: Special tanglefoot bag each reset". However, it is giving me minor trap kits instead:

I'm not sure if this is a bug or an undocumented change.

It was always amazing how much havoc Iso made simply by walking into a room or the square.  Half the server would start buffing for PVP immediately.  He always made things interesting!

I could never tell whose side Zaresh was really on!  Best merchant ever.

Great character, always unafraid to be weird and antagonistic.

That duel with the drow ghost pirate while drowning was legendary.

I normally never make obituaries, so I haven't got any screenshots, but here goes.

Ophelia Ashmar was born and raised in the city of Silverymoon. At a young age she was given to the clergy of Mystra to be raised as one of the old Goddess of Magic's priestesses. However, despite her efforts she was never able to call upon divine power to flow through her. With Tezzeret's Triumph and the rising of the Red Star, the clergy of Mystra and much of Silverymoon was thrown into turmoil. But when many of her fellow clergy members found despair, Ophelia found that she had a connection to the new Goddess of Magic. She was able to draw power from Mystryl and with this revelation, she threw herself into the dogma of the Prophet Tezzeret.

She started out a very simple concept.  I'm not very good mechanically at the game, but I still wanted to be useful in fights somehow.  So a few of my friends helped me make Ophelia Ashmar around the concept of being able to craft a huge variety of divine potion, wands and scrolls.  Early on Stranger told me about the Cradle of Mystryl on the surface and how getting there could be my character's end goal.  I agreed, but I never thought I would actually make it there.  As I kept playing her, I fell in love with cleric and the religion of Mystryl.  Preaching the good word of baby-killing Mystryl was always fun.

Ophelia started out a typical Spellguard shill, wanting to use their power to help promote Mystryl as the state religion of Sanctuary.  And it worked for quite a while until one of her most active followers turned out to be a Dread Thrall and Mystryl herself revealed the truth to Ophelia.  This revelation along with the Collective and Covenant both trying to manipulate her sent her deep into paranoia and she suspected betrayal from everyone near her, except Lina who she saw as too innocent to have a hidden agenda.

When she met Miriam, she came out of her shell and found someone she could trust.  They shared a vision of returning control of Sanctuary to the House of Governance and freeing it from the WAW tyranny.  So the Prefect Triumvirate was born with Zaresh, Miriam and Ophelia.

Ultimately, she never got to see if their plans succeeded, but she did succeed in travelling to the Cradle of Mystryl, where her journey and life came to an end.

Here's some stuff:

Thank you to all the players and all the DMs who engaged in the crazy politics of EFU with me.  Thanks to SwiftRed, Skovox, Stranger, KOP and so many others for playing Mystrylite converts. And Ironside especially for all the cool Mystryl plots and Crucible changes you made.

Back in the day, Magron, Wraith and Ophelia were pretty tight despite drastically differing religious beliefs.  They slowly started drifting apart when Ophelia became a Prefect and they each got entangled with the WAW, Exiles and Covenant in different ways.  Friendships turned to grudges and sometimes exploded into violence.  It was always a great story and a duel between the former Hoarran brothers is an stunning way for Magron to have gone.  Great character, I look forward to the next one.

Kurenov was a great character and his interactions with Mason always made me laugh, especially the friendly-fire countdown he had going on.  But my favorite Kurenov moment will always be when he was fighting Animatrons in the Deep Forge and yelled "Harder!" after getting hit by one.

I loved the duel between Elaine and Skuld and Elaine getting to keep Skuld's spirit in her greatsword was awesome.  I loved RPing with her on Mason even more.  She was an outstanding character and it was fun to see her going from a nervous warder to a Spellguard Agent.  I will miss her and I look forward to seeing your next character.  (Also, I knew it was you all along!)

Bug Reports / Sanctuary Official's Notebook Issues
October 25, 2016, 08:39:39 PM
Gamespy ID: Dinasaur
Character Name: Natalia Mason
Item Name: Natalia Mason's Sanctuary Official's Notebook

I've tested the item on regular Watcher character, Warder characters and unaffiliated characters and it doesn't seem to do anything.  There's no menu and no error either. It just says that I've used an object and then no feedback,

Bug Reports / Spellguard Workshop Movable Ordinance Bug
September 21, 2016, 02:57:13 AM
The center table in the workshop has the quest for this engineering project.  It requires 500 gold and a Svirfneblin Power Sphere.  I thought I had everything I needed based one the quest description and it took my gold but it didn't recognize the Svirfneblin Power Sphere in my inventory as the required item.  Maybe there's a different power sphere I need?
