I didn't make a post to say I was leaving for a bit.  I told a player or two I was moving back to the states and it's been about a month.  I finally got some internet working and i've been online at least once for a short period.  I should be back up and running here in another week or two. (hopefully)

spanish is actually a language in forgotten realms.  I just don't remember what it's called.. So is french.. Once again I don't know what it is called.  They are regional human languages so if you know it and have a high enough intelligent score you can use them.  I think the spanish one is (Sembian) and the french is (Calishan) or something.. Also accents are awesome.  I use them all the time depending on where my characters are from, I also use different typing styles depending on my character whether they speaking haltlingly, despite poor grammar.

There is a hardened gas pocket you can use, that has a variety of effects that you are looking for.  I wont tell you where to get it but it does exist if you know where to find it.  I don't think there is a way to launch it via cannon though.

I think most people have been touched by depression, or suicide at some point in their lives or are the rare few that are lucky to have avoided such.  My family suffered something similar, my mother attempted to overdose on some pills and was also committed for a while until she was stable again.  She is doing absolutely great now.

The only thing you can do is keep them engaged in something they enjoy doing.  Remind them they are surrounded by friends and loved ones and ensure them that admitting they are depressed and asking for help is a sign of strength, not something they should be ashamed of or embarrassed about.  Show them exactly why it's worth living and all the wonderful things there are to do by laughing and smiling.

Keep away from alcohol and spend as much time with them as possible, or make sure that they have easy access to the support they need if they are feeling down.  It's a lot of work and strain on both parties because they feel like a burden after they tried such a thing, and can easily fall back into depression.

But most importantly you need to make sure they feel like they can TALK to you which is probably the most difficult thing.  They need to be able to say what is on their mind without fear of reprisal, judgement, or pity.  Sometimes they start to feel patronized or coddled.

I have nothing but positive thoughts for your brother, and Vlaid's brother in law.

Most domains are only activated and useful for the access to certain spells and the added abilities of invoking that domain to cleric's charisma.  Perhaps the tier system is fine if you sacrifice other stats for a required amount of charisma in order to get the desired enhancement.

I'm against this.. Purely based on the fact that rogue is not synonymous with 'stealth'.  Rogues are people that do shady clandestine dealings, and are often considered very skilled individuals with questionable morals.  The rogue class offers the ability to do many things, depending on the race you pick you can do even more.

Humans get an extra feat on character creation, you can use "Stealthy" and even select skill focuses if you want to match another race's stealth, or avoid elven ears.

Uninstall your current driver, before you install the new one.  If it's a download issue download the driver to a thumbdrive and you can install it from there.  If all else fails take your video card out and re-seat it in it's current slot or a secondary slot (if you have one) sometimes the cards don't marry well to the motherboard.

GSID: Unholy_Master (Previously used to be Aeol_Strife)
Characters: Johnathan Lavender, Samantha Greaves, Di'Amonoscia Eridyastcea

I've been playing for about.. a month.  This server is fun, the players and DM's are engaging-- The struggle is real and the threats are potent.  I've come from soft to hardcore RP servers and i've always found the players make the story.  If you're not having fun try making some enemies or stealing somone's secrets.

I'm still finding new things out on the module.  It's fun and interesting and you guys are fabulous.

So my elf was a chaotic neutral character who did quite literally did whatever she felt her heart pushed her to.  Small known fact was that Di'Amonoscia was married to a human and she never ever took her wedding ring off in hopes that her husband was still alive.  She worshiped the Seldarine in vain hope that they were still alive and she desperately gathered her people in a depressed attempt to reclaim some small portion of the happiness she felt in her youth.  She was almost 700 years old.

A small list of her accomplishments

--Destroying several shrines to Dendar/Shar and disposing of artifacts and other gear only useable by the evil or the cursed.

--Donated over 4000 gold to the elves of lower, paid for new linens and clothing to be made for them and sang songs to lift their spirits.

--Killed and opposed Necromancers, Ooze Cultists and a wide variety of other threats.

--Searched and discovered relentlessly.  Desperate for a way to protect her people, her goals consumed a vast majority of her time and while she seemed goodly she was willing to do many unsavory things to help her people.

--Aided the Watch in over 15 bounties collected, 2 of them player bounties.

Destroying Dendar artifacts from a shrine found in the wilds with Shae, a powerful ally who died at the hand of one of her own.

Singing to the elves in lower.  She did the same in the garden but no screenshots of that.

She tried to uncover secrets and find ways for her people to survive in the dark by hiring people to survey ruins for her in an attempt to find a better home or a weapon/artifact capable of protecting her people.

She had the privilege of meeting many people who died or faded into obscurity, she always did love to meet new people and help them.  Believing deep in her heart that people are willing to change if given the opportunity.

Brewing conflict had its consequences.  It spurned her to try harder.. Perhaps she pushed too hard to quickly.

Most importantly despite all of her hardships, trials, conflicts and problems that arose.  She always remembered to laugh and smile and have fun.  She lived the way her heart told her to.
