I would be happy to pitch in to make the transition smoother. After reading so many questions about the future of the chapter and EFU in general, I feel like this could be our best scenario for growth.

On a personal note with inconsistent playtimes it is already difficult enough to get a group together as is. Their is already a baubilium based sending system and with the end of lower sendings people don't seem to be using it for a reason. Baubilium is not particularly abundant, and getting to places where you can find it is also difficult especially if you don't have a group.

I absolutely love going to the Lower/Mycopolis and running into players, it really adds life to the server. I also understand the need for players to have a central location to congregate to ease grouping, but that seems to put more emphasis on the quest-crush-loot aspect of EFU than the RP and story development.

I don't know what a solution would be, but I don't think that a major change like this would help.

Bug Reports / Nolwan does not accept silver
February 12, 2017, 06:14:17 AM
Just as it reads. Nolwan in the Roasted Dragon does not accept silver ore, he just goes through the conversation asking for it.

I mean that I have never seen a time when there was a tenant in all of the storage rooms. I would think that there would be a line for permanent private storage. They seem to me to be really under utilized.

Suggestions / Give druids "Endurance"
November 08, 2016, 11:22:32 PM
So I was wondering if there was a particular reason why Druids don't have access to the spell "Endurance".

For some reason they don't have it, even though they are given it in PnP and NWN2. It seems to me like it was a Bioware oversight more than intent, seeing as the spell was "Bears Endurance" and its also the only one without an animal name.

My 2 cents.

I seem to remember that there were once contagious diseases that did not show with the classic brown health bar, but instead would have text based symptoms and would do things like slow move speed or mess with your stats. Slime sickness etc. Not sure what happened to that.

I don't think that you should have to multiclass to mechanically perform. Realistically how op did allowing cha buffs make them?

Suggestions / Deck of cards
October 18, 2016, 06:17:30 AM
I was wondering if a deck of cards can be added to some of the merchants outside of Sanctuary. It simply isn't available outside of the trade hall.

Mask of Gulthyn
Helmet
Dwarf, Protection
This ancient mask is masterfully hammered from greened bronze and silver, with deep ruby lenses in its eyes. When attuned to a worthy protector of dwarven people the ruby begins to glow like a flickering candle. These masks are said to have been crafted by the avatar of Gorm Gulthyn himself, and its glow is a spark of the god's divine essence selflessly sacrificed to strengthen his people. The Masks of Gulthyn have historically been passed through generations of the greatest defenders of the Dwarves, and the bodyguards of the Kings under the Mountain.

The Book of Wisdom is a unique artifact said to have been stolen from Oghma's library by the god Mask, yet in the resulting escape it was torn asunder and let fall into the Prime. Over centuries the sentient tome has sought to repair itself, and with every generation of adventurers that uncover a fragment the pages move ever closer to unity. Upon gathering all the parts the player that attempts to repair the book makes a d100 roll resulting in the completion of the relic and the possibility of madness, enlightenment, death, or other effects on the rune guardian.

A pure white page 1/20
Scroll
Universal

This indestructible pure white vellum page resists every stain, mark, and blemish. It seems to capture and hold any light it is exposed to, glowing softly in the dark.

Grants access to first circle spells

Angel skin binding
Book
Good, Spells

This half of a book binding is made from the supple silver skin of an angel, and is stitched together with delicate gold thread. Downy feathers run down its torn spine and it gives the holder a profound yet disturbing feeling of peace and tranquility.

Allows 2nd circle spells, grants paladin's detect evil ability. 25% negative vulnerability.

Demon skin binding
Book
Evil, Magic

This half of a book binding is made from the rough scaly hide of a demon, and is roughly stitched together with darksteel wire. A bloodshot grey eye is set in its torn spine and in the right light it seems to move with an ominous intelligence.

Allows 2nd circle spells, grants blackguard's detect good ability. 25% divine vulnerability.

Liber Prudentia
Book
Rune, Knowledge

Bound half in silver angelic skin and half in dark demonic hide, this book radiates a bipolar aura of tranquility and malevolence. The runes on its pure vellum pages are constantly in motion, shifting to reveal the answer to questions long forgotten. The book hungers to add to its vast knowledge and it viciously consumes the sanity of its reader. Even great scholars devolve into mad hermits who do nothing but pour over its endless pages.

Grants detect good and detect evil, allows the player to ask a question to the DMs at the cost of sanity.
