Bug Reports / Zealous Faith Magic Weapon

Casting Magic Weapon as a Zealous Faith sorcerer causes that weapon to gain the OUB: Sorcerer temporary property.

This would make sense if the bonus dmg (divine or negative, +1) was applied to the weapon, but this is not the case. The bonus dmg is applied directly to the sorcerer.

This means that the temporary OUB: Sorcerer property serves no purpose, and prevents the sorcerer from using Magic Weapon in conjunction with spells such as Shelgarns (they can't equip the weapon now).

Small, but very inconvenient bug for a niche situation.

While I can understand the urge to disparage and/or decry this 'guide', a thorough read of the actual post - and giving myself a minute to avoid jerking my own knee - left me feeling like it's pretty legit.
No, it's not an official or even perhaps popular perspective.
But it's not unfounded, either.
I came away from this thinking, "Well.. it is what it is!"
I tentatively suggest that those who feel offended by any alleged 'misinformation' here step back and ask themselves if it's possibly an excess of defensiveness on their part and if so, why would that be?
Alternatively, just recognise that this perspective isn't yours, even if it is still honestly pretty valid.

I'm not getting it. The DC increases are pretty minor; it seems the real suggestion is the removal of HD caps to the spells.
This is almost guaranteed to be 'a wash' with Sleep, since you will note it was made single-target only in the suggestion.
As for Slumber, I find that this is still easily overcome with simple PfE (unless you roll terribly) or ignored with blur (for Sleep mbad)/elvishness/clarity.
Not to mention it's still a spell effect that vanishes the moment you take *any* damage.

This is barely an improvement. I wouldn't mind seeing it.

Suggestions / Make EFUSL show the IG time

This would be a cool change - the ability to check EFUSL and see if it's daytime (8:00 to 17:00 roughly) or nighttime. Preferably in numbers such as you see by mousing over your compass (bottom right) IG, rather than words.

Porry Naughton (in Pauper Ponds) is an NPC who sells fishing bait that still weighs 0.3 lbs.

It's not possible. It was, but is no longer and likely hasn't been for some time. All such seeds are self-only and plant at the PC's feet.

Well, for druidic seeds specifically, which seems to have been the vast majority of annoyances.

Hello,

It appears that some summoning themes (Spiders for example) receive the (summoning point) discount that SF/GSF: Conjuration provides when summoned via the custom spell, "Summon Swarm"

However, other themes (Insects, for example) do not receive any discount.

I do not know from one theme to the next which one incorporates the discount and which one does not.

I can verify though that insects (1) costs 10 per summon when conjured via the spell "Summon Creature 1" while costing 25 *each* when conjured via the spell "Summon Swarm" (For a total of 75 points instead of 30).

Just saying, sentience doesn't mean that something necessarily has the intelligence of a human or elf or dwarf (etc.).

It's really sapience, not sentience (there is a difference) that should probably fixated on if someone is interested in recognizing that the murder of a golem is not the same as the slaughter of an animal.
That said I agree that there could/should be more indication of that sapience, or 'self-awareness' in the golems. It seems that having unique names has not been enough for some people.

Who knows what the DnD folks were thinking when they decided sorcerers would all want to learn how be the worst fighter in the world instead of literally anything else.  ;)
But yeah, I'd be down for making arguably the simplest weapon in the world more accessible.
