I think using this as a replacement for loot tables is a bad idea, because of the notion that first-timers will still want cool stuff for some of the harder quests.

Yet, I think this is a really good idea.

I've been saving this for a long, long time. A lot longer than I expected. Vyrgil made Daro who he was, literally and figuratively. I had a completely different arc for that character planned, but the moment Vyrgil sat him down in the Red Lantern and proposed adoption, I had to stop and think about it. The conclusion that I came to was that I'd be missing the hell out if I didn't sign the papers.

Never have I made a better decision on EFU. Godspeed, paterfamilias.

Imrahl Allorium(Krynngeworthy)

I picked up this relic from a merchant, but it seems that going through a merchant stall has not only removed its relic text but rendered it inert. It can still be attuned to, and gives the appropriate message regarding its domain and spell level, but does not allow spellcasting.

I'm gonna take it real easy for the next couple of days. Imrahl zoned out at the end of last night's event because I failed a constitution save against food poisoning.

I hope everything is as good as it can be, Blue. I'll keep you and your people in my thoughts. Stay good. :(

He was the opposite of everything I thought a Vault Prefect would be, but he was a perfect and special boy. I'm gonna miss this jerk.

Zoden was a badass. Part of me really wishes it had been a more flexible group that brought him down this time. It's a character I'll not forget, one way or another.

I didn't get to interact with this guy nearly enough. I think keeping Evil fresh on EFU is extremely important, and I can't think of many(if any, really) that succeeded at it more.

Get up to rock.

Suggestions / Domain Suggestions

Since there is also a Relic Suggestions thread, I thought it might be a good idea to make one of these too.

Air/Storm Domains: Swap Call Lightning with Scintillating Sphere. It has a slightly shorter range and radius, but still gives the same amount of damage while being more thematic.

Rune: Add Legend Lore(6), or possibly even replace DBF with Legend Lore(5).

Wrap it up, everyone else, you've already been outdone by the greatest D&D character of all time.

Goodnight my sweet princess.

A bit overdue, but here goes.

Ezra was probably my most ambitious character on EFU, and also the character I failed the most at in pursuing his ambitions. That's what general puzzlement at how to move forward and a new job right after you app for something big will do for you! He was built from the ground up for two purposes: Be excellent to others, and be a Spellguard Agent. I definitely didn't succeed with that second one, since Ezra died as an Aspirant. He had a lot of back-and-forth interactions toward that end, but alas, none of them yielded that precious red and black fruit.

That said, I definitely think I succeeded in making an Aspirant that characters who normally wouldn't trust a lick of black and red could be buds with. A certain cheesemonger stands out! Finding a character's "voice" is always the most rewarding thing to me, though, and I am certain that I found Ezra's voice somewhere between a cordial grin and a word of encouragement. He was a quintessential niceguy, even if he may have had a few hardline views on Sanctuary politics. Even if Ezra's goals, loose though they were, were never realized; he definitely had a lot of fun and funny interactions with other characters, and I'm grateful for that. Maybe that's worth more than a rank, maybe not--I definitely wish I hadn't hassled certain DMs so much over an app that never came to pass. All told, Ezra made a lot of friends in the Underdark, and I'll count that as a solid win in a world where characters making true friends are usually predicated on some sort of future backstabbery or subterfuge. Ezra was an honest guy who I think I can honestly say, never lied to anyone.

The Golden Chalice were Ezra's closest pals, with a dishonorable mention to Sybelle Verlisk and other House Bumbeltonk functionaries. Fortunately Ezra is guest starring in a lot of their screenshots, since I'm terrible and didn't take many. In lieu of digging through my folder for his character sheet, it looked a lot like this:

Ezra Arkezahn was a human wizard who was level 8, his likes included Divination, Abjuration, the Gods of the Weave, casting spells that were totally impractical, Iestryn Delvar, Gilbert Laedak, Celia Riovane, Orvduul, and Sybelle Verlisk. His dislikes were an even shorter list, but Ymph was at the top of it by the end. Ymph is a bad neighborhood, don't go there.

He never got that staff, but that's OK, NothingGoldCanStay. See you all shortly.

I've got two Street Fighter tournaments to play in this weekend, one of which is out of town--so I'll be gone from Friday until late Sunday or early Monday (Probably early monday, because there is ALSO a beach where I'm going so yeaaaaaahhhh). It's been a busy September for me, but Ezra should be around more after this weekend.

I started a new job a week ago, so Ezra has been sparse and will continue to be for a few more days. By Sunday it should be smoother sailing(no more 12 hour days), and I'll be around more.

Also, not going to lie, Metal Gear Solid V is a very good game that's been occupying all my free time.
