I second this, I find that the lower level quest limit is easily reached and then it becomes a "oh great.. I can't die now I have to be super paranoid" because if you do die your gonna have to rely on mooching off of higher levels for questing and the xp tick to take you to 5th was it?

Fighter Perk: Veteran

Whether your a grizzled old fighter and faced many challenges, or been forced into much combat in your short time of life you've accumulated your share of scars, as well as the wisdom to "always be prepared" you seem to just know when danger is coming and know when to stow away a trinket here or there for when you will -really- need it.

-Level 3: -2 Charisma, Random Potion On Reset

-Level 5: +2 spot/listen/search

-Level 8: Battle-Hardened Veteran: +2 Wisdom, Fighter gains 1 hp regen when in search mode

I always want to thrash loot skimmers.. Even as an alchemist I don't do that, and it irritates me immensely.

Well not all alchemists are like that, its an immensely dangerous system and if they weaken its stuff I really think it isn't worth doing considering you can even risk perm in some situations. I hope when you say revamping it only means resetting the recipes or something. I for one am a new alchemist and it irritates me that just because you have a few ooc alchemists (which can be easily handled by telling the players oocly and if they don't listen hitting a delete button in the vault by a DM) that the system is getting warped. And really.. its not going to change anything in the end, all you do is slow them down and make them re-search for all those recipes then bam! here we are again at the same problem, where they spend tons of time researching and bring back recipes all over again. It's obvious when someone is oocly utilizing recipes, and I think the better solution would be to punish those players, rather than messing with an entire system messing with the ooc players and the good players. When in the end.. They are just going to find it all again someday and return to old habits.

Size doesn't define power, a smaller hook horror could be deadlier than a bigger one by ghe rule of no two hook horrors look the same.. really this request is only asking for a chance to suddenly "know that one is tougher because of a floating name that IGly we can't see" I understand the frustration but I kind of like the fact that I can't tell whether the abberant I'm looking at is super deadly or not.. makes me wary as we should be.. not just "oh hey that name obviously means he's weaker we shouldn't be afraid" id rather be "I see a hook horror.. Hells would it be wise.. to attack it?". Normally I'd agree with the first post but when it comes to abberants we should never be sure what we are facing..
