Messages - Lannister

Honoured Lujayn,

I regret that I do not know what proper title to address you as in this letter, but I pray you are of good health and cool day.

Regarding what we have spoken about, I have set to writ three quests for students and balladeers to pursue in defence of the faith.

At this stage the total expense will amount to two thousand six hundred dinar.

I anticipate that we will need to reconsecrate several areas and this will incur a hefty cost as we replace the divine guardian statues that once safeguarded pilgrims against the wicked.

We may speak more of this in person if you have any further questions.

Yours faithfully,
Balladeer Aurelio d'Lyon

Scribe,

I have poured over the bellow records and what I could find. The list of names I have for the fallen at Arslan is below.

Hazran Sahar
Theo Kyon
Rojan Duskwood
Reynard Marshall
Chocola Parfait
Daoud al-Maaz
Ephicus
Findal
Cala
Bruce Danebluff
Ottavio Banducci

The list is incomplete as I have more names to check on, but it is a start.

Yours faithfully,

Excellent work putting this together.

We'll talk more in person but I think you're right regarding the mishandling of the Camel Messengers. I intend to deploy a new battle tactic using Whispering Wind Wands.

My hope is that we can get the Camel Messengers to relay their movements, and information to a person on standby near the Bellows at the camp which can then parrot these messages for us all to hear.

Distance may be an issue, it is something we must practice and investigate.

Yours faithfully,
Balladeer Aurelio d'Lyon

I need you to lead your men in the Scald for this coming battle. Can I count on your strength?

Misfortune,

Mazeed has been prattling on about the Wyrm over the bellows again, after such gracious attempts at redemption.

Keep an eye on him.

Journals and Musings / Re: Aurelio d'Lyon's Journal

Iyar 16th, IY 7789. A time when the Blossoms announce themselves.

Sleep came as a tide last eve. A suffocating, drowning tide that filled my lungs and permeated the furthest reaches of my being.

I have started drinking again.

It was no pleasant dreams that I thrashed against. She came again, another of Her visitations. Thrown into the boughs of blackened roots, of screaming needles. A glade of ash, a glade of graves. I was a wolf. I was eyes. I was hunting, I was running. I saw Her.

The forest was thick with the stench. Meat. Burnt Meat. Burnt Dreams. Blood. Bronze. Silver. I saw Her, her face obscured by a veil of fire. She wept as she held the blade in her hands, but her tears were not of sorrow. They were of wrath.

Of these Hours, I call Thy Name.

The flames licked at her body, at the trees, at the world but they did not burn her away. The fire scoured all around my body as she beckoned me to follow... My hesitation led to great pains. Fire burns, it burns the pads of my paws. It burns away my fur. I am not afraid. Fear is an old friend.

Caught in a tempest of flame and shadows, led to the altar. Where lays the Cup. The snake wrapped around it snapped and hissed at me.

DQWR. DQWR. DQWR.

He picks up the Cup.
I pick up the Cup.
He spills a drop.
I spill a drop.
The world is renewed in green'ry!
The world is consumed in fire.

And I Cry for Thy Death, Cry for Thy Death, Cry for Thy Death.

ZOL NUR,

Let us meet soon. Mae Stern and the Sisters are ever at odds but we have come to understand the worth of each others word.

It is in the interest of life that we move forward from this disagreement between the Rose and the Exile's students.

I hope we can solve the issue.

Yours faithfully,
Balladeer Aurelio d'Lyon

Reputable Merchants,

I've been forwarded your way in my search of a reputable moneylender.

My duties take up much of my time lately thus I am seeking to put together a sum that requires a loan of 20,000 dinar as I will be unable to recover that amount in such a short time as I need it.

Would you be able to cover this amount? If so what repayment options would be available to me?

Yours faithfully,

Legates,

I have tithed 5,000 dinar to the water temple as part of raising Saria Silverlocke as my squire.

I have also acquired the support of the Hakem for the enscribing of B'aara, the Mother onto the Stele. We of the Wheel eagerly await her instalment as the patron of the blessed Well. May her soothing water quench the firery madness that has gripped our ramparts.

This letter is to also inform you that Saria is an extension of my person in our duty. Soon she shall present herself for a quest. Consider well a lesser task fit for a student that the city needs doing.

Yours faithfully,
Balladeer Aurelio d'Lyon

Fantastic. Well played.

The first part of your letter had my genuine interest, but you dashed it entirely later on.

You are offering us very little here that we cannot simply arrange ourselves by gaining an Apothar's aid in descent.

Can you suggest a better way at removing the Astronomer's chokehold on the descent law? If so, we may be far more interested in discussing this further Dante.

Yours faithfully,

Legate,

As you know I have been searching for a way to break the curse of Prince Zosmere, I may have found a way to ward off the effects.

I have brought us a measure of time but I urge you to make time to speak with me soon.

Yours faithfully,
Balladeer Aurelio d'Lyon
