It's on "Miles Fast 2D Positional Audio". No 3d option checked in nwconfig either.

The CPU affinity didn't work. Any other ideas would be appreciated.

I had that issue once before, it froze on all 1.69 patch areas. I had to downgrade my drivers to get it to work. However, the latest ones seem to have fixed that.

Nwn freeze

Facing a bit of an issue with NwN. It freezes and I have to kill the process whenever I'm playing EfU. Rendering it very had to play!

Specs:-

Quad Core
Nvidia 9500GT 1 GB (latest drivers)
4 GB RAM
Windows 7.

I'm guessing it's probably that Nwn wasn't built with Win7 in mind, but even so, I'm hoping there's a workaround.

I went through them all, and the DM-supported factions as well. They are certainly exciting, I wasn't sure if they required some level of acquaintance with the server. It's understandable they would, given the length of time the game's been running.

From what I understood, it's expected that players take some time to acquaint themselves with the game before diving into applications / factions / etc. I thought I'd do that with a simpler, easy to get into PC run faction, so I'll have people around to guide me, rather than going at it solo.

I'm sorry if this is a repeat.

There's a minor bug with this, I can see the "Sellsword" perk complete with description when picking a sorcerer.

I don't know if it would actually apply the fighter perks, (depending on whether all these conversations are referring to the same script file or not) but I thought I'd mention it.

I'd really appreciate if someone could direct me to an easy-to-slide-into PC faction for newcomers?

I'm unsure how much prior knowledge of the server would be required for all the various groups listed in this forum.
