I'm keeping this one brief. The source behind his decision was that he struggles to manage his own expectations. Such as the six years worth of a study which he tried to choke into half a year as a self taught student which he thought would be doable. The national bar was this week and when he realized he wasn't going to make it, it felt like his last chance to prove himself had gone away. We have a good sense of what needs to be done to help him now and while the road is long and hard, at least this is going to be progress.

This situation moved our family in unimaginable ways. Only we and his friends know abut this for the time being. He will be discharged from the facility soon and we're going to do our everything in our own personal ways to make sure this never has to happen again (we're getting support in this as well). All the things you said were so kind and helpful and acted as a guide through my talks with him...

I want to again express my thanks to all of you. You can't imagine what your support means to a person in a time like this.

Thank you.

All your support is very heartwarming.  It means a LOT. I am constantly glazing over to look at your responses.  I would appreciate your PM fishingpinguin. The future for him feels less bleak because of all this. Know that I will answer those that PMed me as well once I can sit down for it.

Thanks so much and feel free and encouraged to keep this topic going. It helps me in a lot of ways (perhaps others than just me and my brother as well?).

A thousand thanks so far.

If you relog and your corpse spawns in the mausoleum, I'll take good care of ya.

That used to happen frequently to me. I noticed that has not been the case anymore for months now though.

Not all characters need to make an impact, and not all Watchers need to be at the pinnancle of elite example. If there are those that loiter around while silently collecting pay, so be it - players (characters) will soon enough figure out who those are and handle accordingly.

Overall, efu's high level of roleplay should be base enough to play a Watcher properly.

A+ from the moment this Drow of mine encouraged (and paid, I think?) you to start up that company with Lupin and Jack to moooonths later, where you were still going on as very succesful characters.

It has always felt to me that it was done to preserve the exclusivity of the rogue perk more than anything. The buy in sum seems overly high and serves no real justifiable purpose. Opinions might not matter much to affect this change, but keeping that system on a high reserve is just a loss of potential if you ask me.

There could be a difference in costs for a sending between Rogues and other Characters. That way rogues still steal away with a benefit.

I remember our very first characters back in efu1, frollicking (within the acceptable boundaries) with your cutesy Sharran. It was a blast man- with you, and all the others who have stuck through efu since those early days.

I might come back to efu myself at some point again, and I hope to see you around for it when I do.

Take care.

Sounds like a freak incident / bug. It's the first time I heard about it.

In one very short PvP session with Perroy1 the bandits spawned twice on us. Because I was on the ground and subdued, this was an extra pain since they were targetting my character.

Another problem of sorts is that the traps they spawn overlap, and spawn directly beneath and around you. They're only minor spike traps afaik, but nontheless.

Love the random spawn, but imo this one needs some looking at.

Close to home we've the fortune that only my grandpa (88yr) has had cancer a few years ago, though my girlfriend has lost her father to cancer a year ago. Thanks for this reminder, I should go and do something nice for her.

EfUA_undercover, despite the prognosis I wish him, you and all your dear ones all the strength that's needed.
