A system like this is indeed pretty neat.  I've played on servers with it before and found it to work pretty fluidly (not sure if they edited it or not).

One thing I'd point out thouth is that something like this is -very- nice and immersive on servers with an abundance of NPCs in towns and on the roads.

This server has -VERY- few NPCs.  Almost none really depending on where you go.  Even in mistlocke, there's only a handful of residents and npcs.

Bottom line?  Might be cool, but would likely end up being more trouble than its worth for our devs.

Just my 2 Cents.

Been using it for a while now.  Best thing ever for crashes because you can relog 3X faster.  Recommended

How might one go about helping to devlope areas?  I'd happily hop on the toolset in some free time to design short quest areas.

Seems I have been misunderstood some.

1:  I'm not looking for an increase to gold / loot per se.  I am seeking new dungeons that are:

A: Designed for characters level 8+
B: -Dont- take all day to complete
C: Yeild a -bit- more than 12-50 XP for completion.
D: Can be completed in smaller groups of 2-3 people without certain death
E: Yield -some- varying loot or small portion of coin

2: I always attempt IC methods of forming groups.  Countless sendings for instance, have gone unanswered lately.  As said previously -people are too afraid to go past the mist.

3: I have plenty of IC plots in motion right now so yes there are things to do besides dungeoning.  Sometimes the pcs I need arent on, or DMs arent available.  Sometimes you just feel like killing something.  I'm just trying to see a few more options created to provide for more enjoyment in the down times as previously described.

The Watchers are really picking up lately.  We've got some great roleplay going and a lot of activity from both Players and DMs.  If anyone is curious about the Watchers and want to join -Now's definitely the time to do it!

You could always get with a DM and RP it?  Maybe dip some withered roots into a potion cache and hand 'em out or something?

I concur.  Changing it to a root or slow effect would do wonders for Balance.  As it currently stands, the spell is more or less an "I win button."

I'd like to join.  I've sent an application in.  My PC was involved briefly with several Watchers, most of whom are dead now.  He currently adventures and works with Marco Ravenclaw.

Sad to see her go!  In the end Marius went looking for her, in spite of everything.  Looking forward to your next PC, if you make one.
