I thought it was for divine casters. Apologies.

No.

This was meant for a cleric to begin with, not a paladin. Use potions instead of your precious paladin spell slots.

An optional area much like the temple of hoar Optional area would be amazing and suit this quest very much- a brief trip into the shadow realm anyone?

Maybe someone slipped you a potion full of thanatol and you drank it?

"Oh Cruel Tempestuous winds, thou art have given cruel reason to the lore master of the town locked in mists, oh, Muskroot, be fixed, or begone from my eyes!"

Basically, Muskroot is on strike again

I cited it, yes, but it was an example amongst others. I don't see how being dispelled of FoM then being petrified applies to the discussion though. If you have FoM up, you should be immune to beholder petrificiation. As when you have deathward up, you should be immune to that as well.

An end of an era.

When Breston mentioned Beholders, he was totally off topic and it had nothing to do with the discussion or bug mentioned.

FoM doesn't stop petrification.  This is the bug. :)

listed here Freedom grants immunity to petrification and is an intended change. That it does  not is a bug.

Quote from: BRESTON;256359Dont beholders completely dispel the moment before they petrify you?

That isn't the point, and it doesn't apply here. FoM should make you  immune to any status mobilization effects.

Didn't seem very clear to me as there is more than one withered area, and most of it is inhabited.

Do you mean non-withered areas in withered lands such as the Cliffside area?

If so, I don't see how it will add to the server, as most people are going to inhabit Mistlocke regions anyways (As they should).

A good idea, just not wanted for the purposes of centralizing the playerbase.

VP began the trend of calling him DA HOWLA on IRC, and it sort of stuck. :)
