Or when PCs are like, "HEY, I'M DOING SOMETHING AWESOME. WOULD YOU LIKE TO DO SOMETHING AWESOME, TOO?", realize that sometimes other peoples' plots are a means to an end.
We are all characters in each others' stories, not main characters with 50 other people playing our supporting roles. People forget that.
