I'm not asking for any real benefit of the skill, just another way to roleplay destroying items, which is typically a cleric using turn undead, and then throwing it in a trash bin. It would be something that is most certainly not worth a DM's time, but of some legitimate concern to a paladin or priest. I see no reason for it not to work in reverse, for evil aligned players, by the same token.

Derp. Resting fixed it. Don't do that a lot as a rogue. Not sure what caused a specific drain of 3 pickpocket, but it worked.

Relogging doesn't. Server reset may. We'll see.

Suggestions / Scripted Consecration
August 09, 2011, 05:32:25 PM
Playing a paladin for a bit and running across all manner of items with descriptions like "Bleeds black tears" and Evil Only items and such, I was wondering if it may be possible to implement a method of using consecration to destroy these items for flavor? Perhaps it may even be an extremely difficult proposition, but be worth doing for some experience?

My suggestion would be to use consecration in some format, possibly at a placeable/container designed for such, to destroy evil items. I'd furthermore suggest that the check be high, possibly something like the combined consecration value+cleric levels+cha mod of the amount of players around this placeable. I believe the reward for doing so, outside of roleplay, could be something like 10-50 experience judging from the level and cost of the item, kind of like UMD.

I apologize if this has been suggested before, or shot down because of some coding difficulties. But I thought it might add another entertaining level of complexity to playing on the Good side of things.

Bug Reports / Losing Rogue Perk on Level Up?
August 05, 2011, 02:06:43 PM
I'm not sure if it's me, or what, but after having taken the smuggler perk at level 5, I lost the skill bonus after I hit level 6. Worth looking into, if you've never heard of this before, I think. Can't choose a new one, so it's not like it got refunded. Not really sure what's up with it.
