Make the significant bonus to parry more than the small bonus to social skills? >>

Quote from: AClockworkMelon;246521So this old hand was nipping clanks (a regular clank napper, you follow?) when some cacklin' auntie with a hole in need of pluggin' peaches up and gives office and next thing I know I'm being invited by two hamlets and Papa Porker. Turns out some kiddeys bing with a singin' tap of me shoulder and I'm loaded up in a goaler's coach ready to have a hearty choke-chat around thumbs. Now, for how I got goin' home...

What's that? What're you lookin' at me like a milch cow for? It's gibberish, benny!

He has such a way with words.

Ah, such an easy fix, thanks.

The only thing I'd change is the wording in some of the skills. The "small" bonus to social skills is more then the "Significant" bonus to the parry skill. :P

True. It's not weird having a rogue be those multiple things as a rogue is D&D's jack of all trades aside from the bard. I was leaning towards more the fact that, I don't know about you, but I see commander being a fighter/barbarian thing more then it being a rogue thing, but this goes off on a tangent about each class having their own special level 8 perks and belonging in the suggestion threads.

Ah, allright. Thanks for clearing a lot of that stuff up guys. I guess I'll see for myself in time the different chances on EfU. =)

Paladin: *Detect evil* Aha! You're evil!
Evil guy: "Prove it."
Paladin: :(

Paladin's are still LG. It's not like even if they did detect evil on evil people that they could murder that evil person in cold blood. They'd still have to go through the annoying process of proving that guy was evil IG.

General Discussion / Efuss bonuses
June 23, 2011, 07:00:25 PM
Hey there people, another newbie question.

When putting points into my Efuss skills, some of their descriptions say they add a significant or small bonus to corrosponding skills, like secondary diplomacy for example. However, when I look at my character sheet or type in *Roll skill* the modifier is just my base modifier without any bonuses.

Since the Efuss skills are seperate from your NWN skills, are these bonuses essentially only used when a DM asks you to roll such a skill, then they look up your Efuss skill bonus, or what?

General Discussion / Perks Q and A

Hey everyone, as you can see by my posting number I'm fairly new to the EfU server. One of my friends actually play on this server so I thought I'd come on over here and give it a try. These..perks, my friend told me were certain "abilities" that you could get once you reach certain levels. So while speaking with him, several questions and thoughts that came up that I hope can be answered by all of you.

1. I searched through the forum multiple times and couldn't find anything that listed or talked about all the available perks IG. Can someone show me please?

2. I was -amazed- to learn that rogue's had their own special set of upgraded perks. Rogue's are generally one of the most OP classes, esspecially when combined with other classes. One such example is the classic fighter rogue. I can understand if the perks were pure rogue only, but it seems even cross class rogue's can access some of these special extra perks that no one else can get. Some of the perks just didn't make sence either, such as "Commander."

3. Does each class get it's own special extra list of perks that is only accessable if you take atleast 1 level in that class, or is that only for the rogue?

4. If the extra perks are rogue only, I think it would be a good idea to give each class extra perks, or "Class specific" perks aslong as they take a certain amount of levels in that class to unlock them. Like to get a 8th level perk for fighters only, you would infact have to have 8 levels in fighter. It would be silly if a level 1 fighter, 7 wizard got a perk named "Hardened frontline veteran". That is of course saying, on the off chance that the DM's arn't working on this sort of thing allready.
