I first thought this suggestion was about adding a random encounter where you meet a Stargazer/Tribal/Traveling Minstrel willing to share their work.

Either way, I'd be for it!

Thus why I mentioned the middleground. As long as it is looked into I am pleased!

A great loss for these exciting early days of EfU:M.

Looking forward to whatever comes next, good Sir.

Someone who affected the entire server in some meaningful and entertaining way would be the simple answer.

I would like to make a mention of my predecessors in the shadows however. Characters like Caleb, The Upright Man etc have always impressed me greatly and in my opinion generated tons of quality entertainment. Even if it may not always be public knowledge that they were responsible.

As Somniis touches on above, there are always a lot of things going on both in public and behind the scenes of EfU.

The quickest if not the best way to get involved with them is indeed to join either a PC or a DM faction, but of course, many of them may not suit your concept at the time.

I would explore the possibility of creating my own PC faction in that case. It may seem difficult, but with a little dedication it can often times be well worth it.

Edit: Much of the roleplay I believe you are craving happens one way or another in factions, since they have a reason beyond "exp and loot" for banding together.

I've always enjoyed playing with you and your characters man.

For instance, Ko was probably one of my favorite palemasters. So clearly you are perfectly capable of pulling something cool out of your hat, but how you go about it, I think only you can tell.

Try to remember those characters in the past you've considered more or less a success. Think about what you did to achieve it and learn from that.

Like the others before me pointed out, the recent days I've been having trouble getting the summoning theme from darkness domain working properly. I suspect it is lag related.

Huzzah for you!

Gaelan Crale, or the Raven, was not a Son of Sabuth, nor a sorcerer, nor many other things he might've made up.

It was my second try at a cleric on EfU, as I've always shunned them, but I dare say this time it was a damn enjoyable ride.

I want to thank all the past members of Team Mask as well as the current (Oo-oOoh!) and every DM that spent some time allowing us to feel sneaky.

Here's some screenshots, yet many remain unposted for what I'd say are obvious reasons.

Shark King!

A big focus of Crale was to extract prayers and nurturing faith.

Also did some classic espionage at times.

And here we ran into the Warden. Or at least so I thought at first.

Last but not least, a simple shot of some very very enjoyable Docks vs Conclave and Order paranoia-esque roleplay. Cheers again for that, Calculor!

Cheers EfU. I'll be back at it again when I've something worthy of our time to play.

Bug Reports / Darkness Domain and Summoning Theme
May 18, 2011, 08:58:33 AM
I've recently had a lot of trouble with the summoning theme bestowed by the Darkness domain bugging, instead giving me the usual vanilla summons.

After a little testing back and forth I am fairly sure that this happens after I've used the Darkness domain Ultravision ability.

As in, once the Ultravision is spent, my summons return to Island theme.
