Join up in treehuggers and find me at some point. I'll log in and maybe the sending system will seem a little bit less useless, and I'm having the same issues. Seems like nature is a lot more conductive to long term, methodically played PCs, as I've found low population to mean I spend a lot of time just cruising around in stealth.

Having improved summons in general, without having to join a faction in order to access them would be nice too, aren't Druids thematically attuned with summoning spells anyways?

This seems like a cool suggestion. There's already systems in place that periodically spawn ambushes, maybe their frequency could be increased and more varieties added?

I've got a few things in common with your brother, and like LPFF says, it's a struggle that feels like it's never really going to end. Well wishes and hope your brother gets better.

I can't blame you for irritation though. Time is important, and having to stare at the fugue for a half hour without any indication of what's going on makes dying even worse than it might normally be. I've been in the same situation before, sitting in the fugue for about a half hour without so much as a tell to let me know what's going on.

Losing a character you've been playing for hours a day for a month straight because of a lack of consideration is a pain, hopefully it doesn't turn you off from the server, though. Takes all of us to make this place what it is, so don't downplay your own contributions or assets :p

I've had this happen to me several times as well, in various areas.

It looks like the script somehow gets stuck in a loop, as if there's something that fires to make sure you're not moving around, likely before taking stock of where you're currently located. Normally after that, it puts you where the placable you're climbing to is. So essentially, you can't move with the mouse because your action Queue is constantly being cleared by the script, and when you try to use your keyboard to move it just results in you rubberbanding back to where the rope is placed at, with the only way to break free of it being to remove the rope, or log off and back on.

I don't know if this is the same bug as we're talking about here, but if so it doesn't seem like it's tied to this area in particular.

Billy probably just gets fed up trying to foil expert rogues. He's a good trainer though. Having not played a rogue a good point for that to cut off at is probably somewhere around the time they get their final pure bonus perk, balance wise.

This sounds like it would make good in character sense as long as a script can be built to permenantly revoke friendliness (allowing quests for redemption such as a paladin might have. Oops I hit one of our guys with color spray, better get in good with the community again)

Needs dms or setting altering plot stuffs to do I think.

But not Chaotic good, as he used to support.  Also, he has the elf war and retribution domains. So it might be worth to try recreating with those domains.
