Any progress on removing the lag would be sick. Gibberlings do seem to cause a decent amount of it and spawn in massive quantities.

It's a little unclear I believe, but last I heard is that you need a DM to oversee their usage in PvP. They are hardly "banned" by any means. This is reasonable as some of them do an average damage that can wipe out a veteran PC with no risk. The labels of "Strong" and "Deadly" actually vary quite a bit depending on the trap anyway, with things like a strong electrical doing 20d6 and a deadly frost doing 8d4. Back on topic however - Hopefully someone gets around to putting some of these in!

I'd probably remove the ab penalty from espionage expert and duelist myself and simply require the pure rogue levels for it to be taken. Their AB is rather low as it is for a class that is semi-required to fight a lot, especially as a duelist ;)

So long as these were put in with the requirement mentioned, 6 rogue levels, then they would work well.

This faction has many goals and expands far beyond what may be seen on the very outside of it by some. People may debate that in this "Us vs Them" argument, yet that is likely because this cult is simply not allied with any of the primary powers and often must fight them (defensively at most times) to succeed.

Most of the gold sums are pitiful and only increase as the IC conflict has grown, often starting at 200 gold and expanding in a way that is seen fitting. I would go out on a limb and say that the core of the issue is actually that people are more attached to their character's wealth and gains than they are to the character itself. There is almost always a way out and being unwilling to accept that is not to the fault of this cult I think.

This is not a debate however and I urge anyone willing to try out a new angle with this faction! :)

Agreed. We should now require one of those 6 DMs on for these events to FRAPS all events. Got it covered wcsherry?

Quote from: Gippy;222422Stargazers apparently never lose any fight -- except the fight to keep interest in their PCs over time.

While not being drawn into the automatic conflict, if only there was a way.

You can't really expect them to be lore seeking librarian types when the faction was driven into their silly position of creating or enforcing treaties while at the same time being required to be law abiding. They are also rather bound to the Dominion at this point, due to the previously mentioned treaties and whatnot, which draws them into open conflict with some of the more aggressive forces many times.

As for the original post I'll only say that I was far more interested in the faction when they made Caliphars renegades when a consort was lost and not replaced. I think the addition of a lesser rank where abandoned consorts, caliphars, and solo recruits would sit until they paired up and made advances would be a fine idea.

It has a ranged touch attack, two of them in some cases.

Excellent work, it was fun to watch him progress and maintain his own agenda / virtues throughout.
