I believe this happens due to PC intervention, and she may be returned to her "proper" location after each reset.  Further explaination may not be appropriate however I'd be glad to explain if someone would like to know.

Definately... in the middle of a battle to hear the yell "gather around while i sing"... .and / or "ARROOOOO" will be sorely missed... although I never did get a chance to chastise HOwler for using NIven's herbalism lessons as bait... oh well.

WIll miss her... was awesome to have her at my side for some memoriable events... And I've learned much from her... both as a character and as a player.  SHe will be missed by myself and Niven (especially since Niven and Larue had similiar views of Balance and allowing each to follow their own path)

Well played

SOmetimes.... getting a Faction key can be accomplished by a faction member (I just discovered this is true of the Stewards as I read through information... I suppose woe to s/he who lies about having an app approved)... not sure if this is true for other factions, however I think it would take some of the "strain" off the DM's as a player can induct another into the faction (maybe a DM note in the faction forum stating char Bob McBobslayer is now allowed to join).

SOmewhat off the original topic, and I agree with the topic, I'm just adding the point that some tasks can be handled without DM input.

Nope didn't know that trick... but I'll try to remember it if I ever find myself without a quest boss.

As a relatively new player (to both NWN and this server only been here 1 maybe 1 1/2 years) I think the server speaks for itself.  I suggest we keep encourageing those that come to check us out. (For example I found someone in game not so long ago with the name "kill joy" so I sent then a Tell explaining a bit about the game and names etc.  I suggested the forums to him etc... they were friendly and said they were just checking us out and soon they logged out to explore our forums).  The only thing I might suggest would be to have in big obvious font something like "ask for help if your new"... or maybe a "chat channel" ig that newbies could use and more experianced players could help out.  Kinda like a dm channel without bothering a dm.... or if a dm sent me a tell and said "hey Niven if you're not too busy there's a new wilds char at camp could you give a tour" I could say yeah or nay depending on what I was doing at that time.

// just my 2 cents while I sit in an ER with a broken foot

I think you will see over the next couple weeks/months that not all druids are the same.  For example the Stewards had a meeting not too long ago and there were as many opinions as there were people meeting.  I think the non-druid members of the Stewards have started to place themselves as the mediators and "PR" squad of the Stewards.  Some druids (especially those with groves) get characterally offended when people come into their home and kill their "pets" (or animals they see as protecting as always individual druids will vary even on this.)
And yes sometimes druids do get beat down.

What about none sneaky name change

For example... often wilds characters (especially stargazers) will "name" someone.. or themselves and sometimes it can be difficult to "know" their name.  For example... I (player) know that "Trout's" name showed as "S"_something_or_other, however I always called him "Trout".  Another thing would be "overlapping" characters... such as several "Frog" or "Wolf" gazers at different times (there's probably something to prevent these from occuring at same time I'm just not aware of it). I know that Niven (my character) used to introduce herself as Genda and had the papers to "prove" it, whenever she was on the "Cursed Stone".  Also I remember one character that was originally titled "Griffon"... however lovingly was redubbed  "Fish Bait" or just "Bait"... after he willingly acted as such.

Not really a suggestion... but maybe I should keep a paper journal nearby for people's alias's.
