LOL..the AI on one of the two kept running and healing, as did I. Finally, I charged, with that battlecry..the picture is worth a thousand words..

I remember places in the UD, in lower, where lighting strikes was part of the thrill of walking those dark alleys.

- I had to come up with a long term goal for my character. Something they could always be working towards regardless of what happened to them in character. Found an order, discover a secret, escape from the something, ect. This way no matter what level they were, how many DM created items they lost, or how many allies died the character always has something to work towards.

Most importantly, he found the Order! Join the Numinous brotherhood, and see your characters flourish, even in death!!!

Seriously though, as one guilty of the random death ending a few promising characters, the post is some of the best advice you can receive.

Ulfrin! Oh why did you not listen! A brewers empire awaited you in the safety of Castle Blackhearth, and a legion of swords to protect you!...after you converted, renounced your heathen ways, and pledged allegiance or be burned at the stake-of course.

Seriously, always enjoyed rping with Ulfrin, and will miss her!

And yet more work..better then not having any I guess. IF you need Templar Rollingsworth for something specific over the next few weeks, shoot me a PM and I will try and get him IG for it.

From about 1pm PST til 2:20ish PST(2130-2230gmt?), lag was so bad, it became unplayble. Opening a chest, or trying to look at a drop took well over a minute, and combat would freeze, then 30 or seconds later, you would be 1/2 dead, and mobs infront of you dead, with no animations.  This was while doing the Missing Children quest in the docks. Upon exiting, I kept warping all over the map, finally gave up trying to navigate and logged. We did see a "error zero " message come up, on our way out, other then that, the entire session was laggy, but only saw the "zero" message once and got worse as we progressed(the lag), ending in the warping around the map.

Out til Friday, need to earn a living.

In the docks after the Mist Raider incursion (most recent one) I saw the on of the Dog Fighter NPC's running by the Sending tower in the Docks. He seemed to have gotten stuck, by the barrow wights camp, and kept trying to walk thru a fence. I thought it was possessed by a DM at first, and part of some plotline or another, but now, in hindsight, perhaps it was moved during the battle, and trying to get back to it's spot, using faulty pathing?  Not sure if it causes lag,but was definitely odd behavior.

This sounds great! But...

It ain't the home that  you remember fondly...Having recently played a char who came up from the UD, I can tell you, nothing will survive down there very long, unless alot of tweeks are made.  I believe the UD is now the truly epically hostile place it was meant to be.  Level ten parties might be all right. Might...for a short time.  (IF we had not had DM help, our plot would of been lost in mere moments, and quite permanently.)

That said, if it were revamped for our lower level playerbase, and feasable, who does not love the UD??

Good god, he can vote, own guns, and have sex legally now..what has the world come too?
