Would moving the 'spoiler' to the final hall be a big issue? Maybe locking the fisrt door behind the player after a certain time so the spoiler cant be avoided. Just my opinion but it's a bit unrealistic that 'spoiler' is immune all the traps anyway.

I just want to say OUCH! Gonna have to side with Egon on this (for reasons he mentioned, specially the spoiler)...

Snakes are snakes... King cobra by the tail...

Seconded... I don't believe they should be immune. I could see where they might be hard to sneak up on, but immune... Perhaps remove the immunity but increase their spot and listen a bit? (Maybe all snakes can get a free alertness, if they dont already have it.)
 
And a snakes weak spot is it's neck ffs (which is about half as long as they are).

I think I talked to most every NPC in the Dock's district and I bet close to half of them have the word "fuck" in their script. ;)
