Quote from: Gordan on December 06, 2024, 09:38:55 PMHi people

I did not do it before and i realyze this come with a huge delay, but i want to give a proper farewell to Efu,

This server is been for me a enourmus source of emotions and inspirations, it made me cry and enrage like no other server managed to do, i had in it my best stories and by worst lows, when you care soo much for something you start to do stupid things for keep it as you want even if failiure is part of the game.

I leaved this server because honestly i do not like this new chapter, i do not like the fact i must start a a low refugee who need to go scratch for his equipment even worst that the city of rings was, i do not like the fact there is only one hub and less rivalities in game due to factions, i do not like the setting vibe of politic... is just not for me.

And is a good thing.

One fact that few knew is that after the death of Richard Winterborn in summer 2022 i actualy started hurt myself, that was the first real sign i had to stop with this server but i continued out of nostalgia and desire to see the story going on, now that story for me is over as there is little legacy from the setting i loved of ring 99.

So yes, now that is been soo long and i  tried sneak back in the server some times i can say with conviction that Efu: Sands of intrigues is not for me

I will not be back anytime soon,  but i want to post this for make a proter Farewell to Efu, its been more or less 3 years of my life so is been important for me.

I have soo many people to thanks for the wonderful time and stories you hepled me create, but one above all must be SN, if you can read this and if you are still active, thank you from the heart you are been close to me when i was depressed because of stuff in game and i will not forgive it.

I wish you all fun and strength for endure all the Desert will Trhow at you

And remember...

Phanax provide ;-)

Stay safe out there!!!!

Then either make yourselves more present, or make your Prelates more present, neither the War, nor the Opportunity, waits for you.

Mirielle will send you the bill for preventing thousands of people from dying to environmental problems.

Vice-Chancellor Pakas Oruko,

Ephia's Well was overjoyed to see your illustrious self, as well as the renowned Zham Tal, visit our borders, to bear witness to Kusatma.

Today, we write to you in regards to trade. During your visit, you mentioned an invention. We are intrigued by it, and would like to trade for it, as well as negotiate for the following:

- Baublium.
- Gas masks and respirators.
- Any inventions or materials which can stave off heat and toxic fumes.

Please let us know when and where you would like to meet to discuss trade. Ephia's Well would gladly welcome you inside our walls as dear neighbors, and we are also prepared to make the trek to fair Tlonsiyya.

As a machinist myself, I am most fond of your works and I am certain we can come to a mutually beneficial arrangement.

Mae/ZN,
I hope this letter finds you well.

I need to know ASAP the estimated baublium requirements for maintaining the mobile Shade for the march across the Scald. Relatively precisely, because we're negotiating a deal with Tlonsiyya very soon.

And by ASAP, I mean by the end of the day.

Best regards,

A/A/M,
I hope this letter finds you well.

I need to know ASAP the following:
- monetary budget for the deal itself
- water budget
- monetary budget for the negotiation gifts et cetera, buying them a 1st Edition Kusatma model would cement the deal surely, but it's 30,000.

.. that I am operating with for Plan B which is the Tlonsiyyan deal for, in (likely) this order of priority:

- fire-hazard protective equipment for obvious reasons - tarps, and other stuff.
- respirators and masks to prevent us from suffocating from toxic fumes
- crates of baublium for powering the mobile Shade as we go, we're gonna need a lot of it.
- grenades for our war-engineers and sappers
- other stuff

I also need to know a rough estimate of our numbers- troops, and the camp followers.

And by ASAP, I mean by the end of the day.

Best regards,
Jamileh Attar

Hamdan al-Hamdan,

My schedule is incredibly busy, but I will see if I can find you a slot somewhere. I care very little for the opinion of the unopinionated when it comes to titles. I had two degrees and a bachelors before I even came to Ephia's Well, and I'm close to finishing my second one from the backwater inst-- Sandstone College.

Apologies for the tardiness of my response, but I rarely notice new letters piling up on my desk amidst all the papers, not to mention - I rarely spend time in the Well - the truth is OUT THERE, and that is where I usually am.

Find me at your convenience. I have also something you might wish to purchase - a ROGUE'S NECKLACE - that I held in my pack for the past week, thinking of you.

The emerald, however, is gone - I have fed it to a Groknak (Baby).

Best regards,
Jamileh Attar

I was before I even came here and decided to waste my time away helping others.
Anyway, my point still stands!

Sign it.

P.S. Are you the one who tried to hit me but couldn't bring himself to do it, hiding under 'Collective'? Well played..

Friends,

Below is a draft of a letter I intend to send to the FACULTY to commend Caster Cro as per Zol Nur's suggestion.

If you agree with it, please sign your name, and I shall send it to the faculty.

Additionally, I would like to organize a join trip to Frostport for Caster Cro in the coming days, for he has spoken how much he misses winter.

---

Dear Sir/Madam of the FACULTY,

We are writing to you to request an official commendation and recognition for Student Caster Cro, for the endless qualities: his unceasing labour, helpful demeanour, walking his path of walking towards the shining light of understanding - and all that done, with the merriment and humility befitting a true scholar, as well as his refusal to give up.

A true gem, amongst us, and he does deserve recongition.

I think it would bring a tremendous smile on his face, and it is well earned.

Best regards,
Jamileh Attar

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to formally request abolishment of the requirement for graduate students on the grounds of extenuating circumstances. While it amuses me greatly to see fresh Students put into burlap potato sacks to be pointed at and mocked on the streets...

I do believe it should not be applicable to graduates.

Or, well, myself at least.

The fact that I remained with the College after graduation to pursue a second degree in psychology and nudging the fresh students to spread their wings is actually doing the College a tremendous favour based on my reputation as the first and foremost archaeologist and historian of Ephia's Well, not to mention the fact that I possess two degrees, from before my time in the Well - in Mathematics and Archaeology, as well as a Bachelor's in Mechanicus studies, followed by a degree in History from Sandstone, not to mention my contributions to the License Wars over the months (which is proven by the fact that the moment I disappeared, archaeological licensure went to the Mount - though, not for long, now).

Best regards,
Jamileh Attar
