Hi Guys.  I'm an occasional player here, these days, but I'm finding that after having previously installed the optional haks, I need to update things more than not in order to log in.  I'd like to revert to a pre-hak state, if possible, as it stops me from playing when I do have some spare time.  

Any thoughts and/or solutions?

After having been pick pocketed yesterday and having not noticed my char had in fact seen the incident (and could have reacted) until much later on, I was wondering what could be done to make it more obvious to a player that they have been assaulted.

Would we for example be able to have the pick pocketer turn hostile, if they fail the appropriate saving throws?  This would at least take the focus off the person attacked from have to see the message, turn hostile, finally react and so forth.

Just a quick thought.

I've noticed this isn't working so well.  

Sometimes a message will come through quite soon after its sent, but sometimes (40% of cases) it wont come through at all. I've noticed that the problem happens more often when the server has been up a while, but this isn't always the case.

The character is Jonny Three-Fingers (I_need_a_haircut).

After each reset I'm finding that my EFUSS points become unspent, even though they've been attributed to skills previously. No idea if anyone else is having this problem.

This suggestion is based on the early fallout games, whereby addiction to various substances mechanically caused an increase or decrease in particular statistics.

When "under the influence" of a drug there was a temporary increase in some character statistics, like intelligence or strength, and when the effects wore off there was a decrease in those same (or other) statistics.  Statistical drops would continue to fall over time, if the substance in question wasn't taken regularly.

In some respects then, would be kind of like the effects of poison in NWN, except that there would be an initial (and possibly continued) benefit from the substance if its supply was maintained.  Also, I guess any effects would have to continue over resets.

No doubt this might take an age to code or not even possible to implement, but I thought I'd throw it out there.

Can I suggest, if nothing already exists and it is possible, that there be a poison of some sort that can be added to drinks, knocking out the consumer for a time, i.e. to sleep.
