Hmmm. Nope, I just removed all my overrides (which only consisted of the EfU overides anyway) and tried again. No dice.

Video card drivers are up to date.

The rest of the entire game of NWN seems to run fine, it's just specifically when I click the Misc screen of the starting inventory shop.

I've been quietly AFK for the past month or two due to schoolwork and stuff. Does that count as a leaving?

I have no idea what any of you are talking about. Does this make me a bad person, or just a noob?

I see no reason to change it. How is rain annoying? How does it scatter people? Why is it a downer? Etc.

Rain is fine, and makes for good RP. I don't mind it at all.

You lot are bloody loons.

The man has epic-level CHA. Definitely 30 CHA or up.

Hey! That hallway in the last screenshot is where our Way attempt wiped. Good times.

Bah, I hate that the site asked me to sign up with them to view my test result.

Lawful Neutral Human Wizard, 33% Combativeness, 50% Sneakiness, 56% Intellect, 44% Spirituality

Looks like it almost might be leaning towards Rogue territory too. Hmm.

Windowed mode indeed. Windowed mode cripples my ability to take screenshots, but it allows me to multi-task, which is great because I can have IRC open on my second monitor while NWN'ing on my primary screen.

She was always a cute little teddy bear to me. I kept wanting to pick her up and give her a big hug. She always seemed so hesitant and wide-eyed, but now I see that she had an iron core beneath her big bambi eyes.

Good show.

Dungeon Master's Gude, pg 186.

"DWARVEN DEFENDER
The defender is a sponsored champion of a dwarven cause, a dwarf aristocrat, a dwarven deity, or the dwarven way of life. As the name might imply, this character is a skilled combatant trained in the arts of defense. A line of dwarven defenders is a far better defense than a 10-foot-thick wall of stone, and much more dangerous.

Most dwarven defenders are fighters, paladins, rangers, or clerics, although ex-barbarians, sorcerers, wizards, and druids can certainly benefit from the defensive capabilities of this prestige class. Rogues, bards, and monks usually depend too heavily on mobility to use the abilities of the dwarven defender class to their fullest.

NPC dwarven defenders are usually soldiers in a dwarven citadel, segregated into their own units separate from regular warriors or fighters. Occasionally a lone, wandering dwarven defender can be encountered on some mission, although he usually guards his words so closely that it's difficult to learn what his quest actually entails."

....I get the feeling I was just a few hours too late to miss a gigantic battle, while I waited for my main PC to update to 1.69.

Dammit.

Related to Blazon Tailoring, but not enough to warrant its own thread IMHO: Could we get some more light in the corner where the dummies are? It's impossible to see the true color of the dyes.
