Well, this might be common knowledge but I just noticed this: There is a pull down menu in the lower left corner of the forums that allows you to change the forum appearance from the standard "vB4 Default Style" (blue and white) to "Black and Purple" which is much more fitting for the setting. Its much nicer to look at rather then the bright white and blue and should be the forum default imho. Hope this helps someone.

Set forum as default page, removed activity stream, added black and purple theme a day or two ago. Don't get too attached to the changes, hopefully Snoteye will finish upgrading our forums next weekend :)

Then we can likely look for a proper skin.

Way better. Feel kind of silly it didn't occur to me to look for another option.
