Title: Beflas Kraus - It was bound to happen!
Post by: WriterX on February 03, 2015, 11:03:09 PM
Beflas Kraus was my first Tiefling ever, even if it wasn't my first Warlock. He started off as any typical Warlock would, in Lower. Trying to find out what was what took some time, and as he slowly made new friends (and enemies) he had a very colorful life!

I tried to make it a PC who would not go out of his way to be the stereotypical evil that one might expect a Warlock to be, trying to engage with all manner of people in all manner of styles.

The Short Story of Befles before the Underdark:

Though he shared this tale a few times, Beflas was "created" in a Coven of Warlocks who intended to create their own army of Fiendbloods. When Adventurers came about and trashed the Covern he was one of the few people to escape. Forced to hide and regain what little knowledge he had of the Infernal he ended up in the Underdark, after being chased by Thralls and worse monstrosities.

Eccentric, hedonistic, intelligent, if not always wise. Kraus always dreamt of having his own Golden Palace, and power unimaginable, but in the end he did not seem all that ready grasp it in his claws.

I hope you all enjoyed RPing with Kraus, be it as his friend, enemy or just a customer.

He was one of my two PCs who almost managed to reach level 8! Hopefully the next one reaches that benchmark.

It was awesome man! Thanks for all the fun and for bringing some proper seedy evil presence to lower.

I always enjoyed spending time with Beflas in Lower.  He was Hlahlisessil-zah's one true love!

Aww, such a shame to see Beflas go. I always thought you portrayed the "neutrality" rather well ^^ A little -too- well, at times!
Best of luck on the next. Hope you have as much fun with it.

Oh, Beflas... I'm waiting to get from Writer the authorization to post more relevant and perhaps spoileriffic images, but this obituary doesn't nearly make Beflas justice.

The more silly shenanigans and shameless wooing

Beflas' unseen guard. It happened more often than you think.

Beflas was an incredibly fun character to play with, and despite his apparent "neutrality" he was involved in some pretty important stuff. I can safely say that the relationship he and Idon had was one of the most entertaining I've ever had on EFU, and left me amused, surprised and suspicious more than once.

Curse the circumstances for not having been able to spend more time with him. And yes, little shadow did love his stew-obsessed tiefling, as much as a respectable shadow aware of the futility of the sentiment in a world where everything WILTS AWAY AND DIES ever could
