Hello, when I use the spell Flame Weapon from a chargeable item (not a PC wand) on my monk's gloves, it doesn't have effect.

They should all work.
Do you use the spell on yourself, or directly on gloves in inventory? Are you wearing the gloves or just on some gloves in inventory?
Does it give you an error of anykind? Any message at all when you use it? "Requires melee weapon" or similar? Or does it not let you use it at all?
I used the spell directly on my gloves, while worn. I just tried testing it by using the spell on my portrait, that seemed to work. Sorry about this premature bug report!
The error message received when using the spell directly on worn gloves, is the one relating to it being only usable on a melee weapon. If both should work, that qualifies as a bug I guess.
Well the direct targeting doesn't work and it's likely been known quite much. Use it on yourself as is, at some point if I remember I may look at it, but it's small thing.
