There is some stuff you can now get in the Underdark (no idea how long it's been that way, but IRC seemed utterly puzzled)... but you acquire it in a new and slightly weird way - attacking it. Iron Ore is the most easily recognizable.
There's not much documentation on this - what are these things? Are they just a new way to get items of general use, or for something specific?
How exactly are these resources retrieved - what skill checks, etc?
I've figured out one - farming - and that should probably be reflected on the EFUSS page. Most of the unknowns about these things are mechanical, not in-game discoveries, so having more clear information about that would be nice.
They're for monster lairs, and maybe other things later.
Mining is [Mining + Discipline/2 + Appraise/2] vs. DC
Fungus is [Farming + Search/2 + Spot/2] vs. DC.
The system is probably going to be tweaked which is why it hasn't been documented yet.
Since this hasn't been officially documented yet is it safe to assume this is still how the system is calculated?
